Seriously though, burial is expensive and if you thought used car salesmen were bad try funeral homes.
If you can't afford to put up the exorbitant cost yourself I'd recommend alternatives to spare your loved ones.
More than that though I'd rather my family keep my memories without feeling they need to go and maintain a place for me. Something like that is costly monetarily and emotionally, and just wasteful of space besides.
Wherever I go, I won't be there.
That said, if I had to be buried I'd go with the Jewish tradition. Plain box, simple, without ostentatiousness, in the smallest plot they can fit me.
