Are scientists any closer

Are scientists any closer to figuring out, since Darwin's theory was expounded, what is that proposed unknown common ancestor of gorillas, chimpanzees and humans? With all those bones and dna findings, still no certain common ancestor?

You will be told to do some googling as this is the university most graduate in a few minutes from. Also you would be questioned on your honesty and agenda. Thats the way many roll.

Right. So you're saying the common ancestor is??? Dirt? Clay?
Why are you ridiculing your own beliefs?
The difference is, reality based science does not claim that the dirt was spoken into a fully formed adult human male by tribal deity magic 6000 years ago.

Not as many that have been on this forum for years, who pretend to have studied the subject, yet still ask the sorts of questions a 5th grader might ask.

Maybe. But still, many do.

Saying things like "others do stupid things more than my tribe" is not really a great response.

So you think procreative line to Ms. Aniston is evolution of some common ancestor of bonobos, and chimps. Ok, thanks for clarifying your belief.
So you did not read (or understand) my response. Typical.
It pointed out the disingenuous nature of your "question." I see you have taken up the mantel of the 'start a new thread when you've run out of pseudo-clever quips and can no longer pretend to be interested in having your fake questions answered' creationist-guy on here.

You must be so proud - but not as proud as your deity...

Still no answer.

This is a lie.
You have received many answers to all of the disingenuous, child-like "questions" you keep starting new threads to ask in.

You just cannot handle the answers and so, like pretty much every creationist, just keep asking more disingenuous questions, thinking that Yahweh will smile upon your antics. Or maybe you do it to try to justify, in your own mind, why you believe what you do.
Just putdowns from you and people like you.
Three years of answering the same 'questions' from you tends to make people see what you're up to.

Like - what has it been so far - 8 times? 9 times? - you've asked for genetic evidence and I provide some to you, and you totally ignore it or nitpick one sentence in order to maintain your faith?

Give it a rest.
Btw, scientists keep changing what they think reality is. Brains smarter, bigger, maybe yes, maybe no.
Your 5th grade buddy tell you that?

Going back to science for a moment, when Leewunhoek discovered microbes, that was a fantastic discovery. It proved that things we wouldn't ordinarily see exist. It doesn't prove evolution.
Non sequitur.

But as microbes are not mentioned in Scripture, it seems that old Tony sort of got the ball of reality rolling - now a giant boulder - that crushes simple "belief" in ancient tales.

Thanks for bringing that up.

Mention the words Darwin, scientists, theory, etc., and you'll get a large trail of ants coming out the woodwork.
Better get some Diatomaceous Earth. :D

Idiot - a stupid person ; a person of low intelligence ; stupid - having or showing a great lack of intelligence or common sense.
@nPeace, saw your comment and was reminded of your comical antics of yore, and I see that you have not changed.

To further highlight how big a problem this is for them...
Evidence of a chimpanzee-sized ancestor of humans but a gibbon-sized ancestor of apes
Body mass directly affects how an animal relates to its environment and has a wide range of biological implications. However, little is known about the mass of the last common ancestor (LCA) of humans and chimpanzees, hominids (great apes and humans), or hominoids (all apes and humans), which is needed to evaluate numerous paleobiological hypotheses at and prior to the root of our lineage.
Here we use phylogenetic comparative methods and data from primates including humans, fossil hominins, and a wide sample of fossil primates including Miocene apes from Africa, Europe, and Asia to test alternative hypotheses of body mass evolution. Our results suggest, contrary to previous suggestions, that the LCA of all hominoids lived in an environment that favored a gibbon-like size, but a series of selective regime shifts, possibly due to resource availability, led to a decrease and then increase in body mass in early hominins from a chimpanzee-sized LCA.

All approaches to understanding the past must work with limited data. Like many other kinds of evidence of past peoples, the relation between ancient DNA and past events is intermediated by complex models that bear many assumptions, some untested or untestable. Statements about the past from this evidence are thus accompanied by uncertainty, some quantified and some unquantifiable. Accurate communication of this uncertainty is essential to effective cross-disciplinary collaboration and public understanding.

That's huge.
Guesswork then, is all they can manage, really... but who knew.
Certainly not idiots.

It is so precious how creationists love actual science when they think it somehow supports their position, yet utterly reject the same when it doesn't.

Ah, ignorance really is bliss....

You just do not like the fact that there is overwhelming evidence so you make up false conclusions about what the studies say.

Clearly a desperate act.

He has a clear history of doing exactly what you exposed. Most of them do. It is all they can muster.
