Are LGBT people happier now than they were a hundred years ago?

Because that's how gay people felt prior to gay liberation.

Seriously how are you this ignorant of things?
I see. Did you think I'd be sympathetic about that? I don't know what you're referring to. It feels like you're talking down to me.

LGBT stuff; homosexual acts, dressing up as a man when you're a woman, trying to physically change your gender, advertising all such behaviour, applauding it, teaching to kids in school that it's OK - maybe even good, etc.

Teaching it to kids probably only gets mentioned once in a sex Ed class maybe in the third grade that only last maybe two or three months. It's probably mentioned in the terms of people having different orientation and then they move onto the next topic maybe STDs or whatever. It's not like they're hearing it every day. I'm not saying that if they did hear it every day that it would be bad. I'm just stating facts. Everything I learned in school I basically forgot due to work, activities etc. lol so I don't think it's really that big of a deal that people make it out to be. I think it's good. I think it might help kids not be so judgemental but I even doubt that as well unfortunately.

As far as advertising goes and seeing a gay person on the street kids see all sorts of things and usually stuff is forgotten. I'm not saying that They need to forget those things I'm just saying that kids are into what they're into whatever it is dolls baseball computers games etc. I don't think this is a big deal that people make it out to be either

With all the corruption and immorality that has been spread for their sake,
What corruption and what immorality are you referring to, exactly?
you'd think they had gained some advantage. What is the advantage though? Are they better off now?
My guess is that it must be an advantage to live in a society that accepts the reality of one's gender choice, instead of brainlessly persecuting it.

But beyond that, have you found follow-up studies that have looked into the question?

If so, what do they say?

If not, why don't you do so now?

From a purely psychological pov, and with my limited knowledge regarding psychology, I don't think fear does much to happiness. I'm not saying it doesn't do anything, i just think it doesn't do as much as one might think. A person can live in fear and be pretty happy, while one can live in safety and be utterly miserable.

True, I thought relief from fear would be the bigger advantage though.
This seems to show they mainly wanted to be accepted as the same as everyone else. So maybe not to be happy but to just feel accepted.

And there isn't a single way that their gains have resulted in corruption or immorality.
I'm not blaming them for this, but as an example: what has brought porn to be advertised on the random high rated apps I download? Is charity and kindness or forgiveness and sincerity in the society, the reason I'm nearly forced to see porn?

That's like a haram relationship. For a Muslim it's like that when they're not married. But when a Muslim is married, public acts such as kissing, hugging or otherwise being on an intimate manner in public, is frowned upon.

Kissing one’s wife’s hand in front of other people in the street - Islam Question & Answer

On the other hand, marriage must be publicised in the sense that it cannot be a secret.

I don't know why you want me to imagine that. I can, but nothing is more important to me than obeying Allah, so I won't be, if Allah wills, brought to give up on obeying Allah due to a longing for another human being in the way you seem to suggest.
Has anyone close to you ever shared with you that you don't have to believe everything that's written in a book? That's one of the things my mom told me that was priceless. I was raised a Christian but there's a lot of things I don't agree with in the Bible. Reality has always been my greatest teacher. I'm pretty certain that Allah won't be offended if you stop judgeing gay people.

How do you know they're happier? Do you just assume?

Self reported higher level of happiness, higher level of social participation, normalisation of the level of depression and suicide amongst homosexuals and bisexuals compared to heterosexuals. What other evidence do you require, a happy drawing of two homosexual kissing? Define the goalpost to answer your question and stick to it.

Just because you see an advertisement does NOT mean that you're forced to look at it. Why do people advertise porn? Clearly because there are plenty of people who respond to the ads. Personally I don't like to drink alcohol, but I'm constantly bombarded with ads for it. What di I do> I simply ignore them because they have no interest to me.

I'm not blaming them for this...

Except from your OP you clearly ARE blaming them.

With all the corruption and immorality that has been spread for their sake,

You DO realize that the vast majority of porn out there is HETEROSEXUAL porn, right?

It's clear this person has hatred for gay people so perhaps we should try to educate him on the benefits of not judging instead of answering questions that are frivolous. Not that one would be successful especially when one is 'doing the work of Allah' supposedly and unfortunately. I mean no offense to you but the whole world knows its a better place for gay people

I've often wondered do white racist hate black babies? Or vice versa? Surely there's some babies on earth now who will grow up to be gay. So if someone hates gays do they hate those babies?

HOLY MACARONI!!!!

This isn't about me. I want to know about them. If a person wants to lead a homosexual lifestyle, but then realizes the threat of being caught is too great, wouldn't it be logical to stop leading that lifestyle?

Think of a thief who's increasingly afraid of being caught, but won't stop stealing. He has a problem. The problem is not that the state refuses to make stealing a positive act, but that the thief insists on doing something that is wrong.

It's not a lifestyle. It's not a choice. You don't choose to be sexually attracted to women or whatever you're sexually attracted to.

Why don't you just get rid of your desire for women.

The reasoning behind the OP was the assumption that the Bible refers to the LGBT community in certain Old and New Testament scriptures.
This is a result of centuries of false teaching. It painted this community in a very bad light and resulted in the elevation of the Christian’s negative pride.

Therefore, to declare that it is ok to pass laws making the lgbt community a protected class, is to give moral evil the green light to open the floodgates.

well you made it about you unfortunately. Clearly the whole world and all countries states or provinces etc. need to let gay people live in peace and definitely not have laws against it

Unless you're psychic, you'll never read another person's mind. So I'm asking you to try to put yourself in their shoes. Wouldn't you be happier if you couldn't have sex with the person you love without fear of being killed, and then that threat went away?

If a person wants to lead a homosexual lifestyle, but then realizes the threat of being caught is too great, wouldn't it be logical to stop leading that lifestyle?

Of course not, any more than it would be "logical" for a person to stop having sex with a person of another race simply because their society declares that to be a capital crime. The logical thing to do would be to not kill people simply because of who they have sex with.

Think of a thief who's increasingly afraid of being caught, but won't stop stealing. He has a problem. The problem is not that the state refuses to make stealing a positive act, but that the thief insists on doing something that is wrong.

The wrong that a thief commits is stealing property that doesn't belong to them. It causes harm to the person they steal from. No such harm is inflicted on two adults who have consensual sex.
