Are LGBT people happier now than they were a hundred years ago?

With all the corruption and immorality that has been spread for their sake, apparently, you'd think they had gained some advantage. What is the advantage though? Are they better off now?
Everybody is happier today than 100 years ago. Well, where I live at least.

But it is possible that there are some backward countries where improvement for the LGBT community has not been so great. Or for any other community, as a matter of fact.

Because He keeps the world as it is.
If He keeps making gay people, maybe you should ask yourself if you think that's bad. Stand up to God and complain about His creation. Didn't work out so well for Peter. God can get irked if you call His works unclean.

Anyway, I wish I could teach my mother this, but ads tend to revolve around search histories and such things. I am not into porn and never see porn ads. If you are seeing lots of them ....

That might sound good to you, but reality is different when you face the possibility your loved one will be beaten to death on his/her way to work tomorrow because you needed to be with him/her.
So we should cave in to being cowards? I live in a supposedly free country where people are getting tossed into unmarked vans and disappeared like all those "evil" countries do. I would rather go to hell for doing what is right than go to heaven because I was a coward.

And since homosexuality has been considered a mental illness just a few decades ago and a grave sin for thousands of years
Your religion hasn't been in existence for "thousands" of years and many religions don't really care.

I mean, think about it: for quite a while, tomatoes were seen as poisonous and should not be eaten. Fear drove people to avoid them and it turns out they were never poisonous to begin with. That's what your religion has done to you: given you some bad advice on how reality works.

In my view, a society is BETTER for valuing all of the individuals that it comprises, and it tries to celebrate and value the uniqueness of each -- because that uniqueness can add an incredible amount of richness, new ways of thinking and perceiving, and eventually contribute to much better lives for all.
Indeed. The eye cannot say to the hand it is not needed. I mean, if you want to nitpick, neither the eye nor the hand are actually necessary for life, but you know what I mean. :)

What do you consider to be their right? What makes them corrupt and immoral?

Seriously, you people need to read what I'm responding to..

If you were a jew in the time of the holocaust and the nazis were coming to get you?

I never said they should stay quiet. You implied they shouldn't and you wouldn't and I argue that you would if you were really there and since you're not, you can't say what they should or shouldn't do.

Can you summarise in a paragraph?
The people who opposed the marriage and other rights of LGBT people created legislation and contributed to social conditions that led to unnecessary suffering for the LGBT in their lives and hindered their flourishing. Actions and beliefs that cause avoidable suffering for others are immoral. Thus their actions and beliefs were immoral.
