I read that you are a magician. I'm interested in that myself and am trying to learn a few tricks. I'm interested in the psychology of magic and illusions (I'm a big fan of Derren Brown) and have just read 'Sleights of Mind' by Stephen Macknik and Susana Martinez-Conde. Well worth a read if you are into how easily our brains are fooled by magicians.

You have described yourself as an "agnostic theist." That's interesting to me because just recently, on another forum I post on, I asked if there was such a thing. Would you mind telling me exactly what you mean by the term? Thanks.

For your information. I was not over-exaggerating about the treatment of homosexuals. I myself have been treated that way when I lived in the Bible belt, by so-called good Christian men.
