That's a valid point. If she was discussing her own sexual assault at a fundraiser for women's shelters or something, that would be a very respectable thing... Buy tying it to politics really does cheapen it.

When women talk about their personal experience being dismissed as having ulterior motives is extremely common. Ie, she is after money, she is after fame, she is just trying to get attention.

Well the whole thing is being made over sexual assault.
The whole reason for this thread in the first place is that AOC is no stranger to making embellishments and lying about what really happens, then uses the opportunity for photo ops with her almost always in some form of emotional state and engaging in emotional poses and profile shots by the photographer.
I'm not the only one who see this.

Its true the right isle does take cheap shots at her yet its obvious why telling the truth is an issue because she simply can't tell the actual truth.

No, not really. I just don't fall for things people happen to say out of the blue.
I'm not saying it didn't happen nor that it did happen.
Just that there are actually people out there who do that sort of thing all the time. Not everyone is honest you know.

But the minute one brings criticisms that are uncertain, it still has the effect of possibly damaging an innocent person's reputation, such as if I said "Does Twilight Hue beat his wife?".
Personally, I have very mixed feelings about AOC, thus I'm not really a "fan" of hers. And the fact that she's a Dem makes no difference to me one way or the other.
Men actually do that sort of thing you know.
