It is my opinion that choosing sexual assault to try and earn political points says much about the one(s) mocking humanity

Its also worth considering that some people lie about things. That does happen.

I'm not saying she wasn't abused, that can be true , but I also dont believe everything a person says either, solely on a basis that they said it.

AOC doesn't strike me as being an honest and genuine person.

So, they should just shut up and stay in their own corner?

I've seen enough.
Emotional people are disastrous. Look at Trump for perspective. AOC is a potential female version of Trump. Emotional and narcissistic.

So you have never been sexually abused and yet feel competent enough to pronounce someone you politically hate lies about it because you think so.

How to dig a bigger hole for yourself eh?

Talk about propaganda.

Opinion | AOC and the myth of the perfect sexual assault survivor

Make sure the camera gets her expression right on her good side.

Riiight! Let's talk about phoniness. We could start with Trump and Cruz and Graham. But since you referred to a member of Congress, let's look at the completely phony comments of Ms. Greene:

Marjorie Taylor Greene House Floor Speech Transcript: Before Vote to Remove Greene From Committee Assignments - Rev
The problem with that is though is I was allowed to believe things that weren’t true and I would ask questions about them and talk about them. And that is absolutely what I regret, because if it weren’t for the Facebook posts and comments that I liked in 2018, I wouldn’t be standing here today and you couldn’t point a finger and accuse me of anything wrong because I’ve lived a very good life that I’m proud of. My family’s proud of, my husband’s proud of, my children are proud of and my that’s what my district elected me for. So later in 2018, when I started finding misinformation, lies, things that were not true in these Qanon posts, I stopped believing it. And I want to tell you, any source, and I say this to everyone, any source of information that is a mix of truth and a mix of lies is dangerous no matter what it is saying, what party it is helping, anything or any country it’s about, it’s dangerous.

Marjorie Taylor Greene: (05:05)
And these are the things that happen on the left and the right and it is a true problem in our country. So I walked away from those things and I decided I’m going to do what I’ve done all my life, I’m going to work hard and try to solve the problems that I’m upset about. So I started getting involved in politics. You see, school shootings are absolutely real. And every child that has lost those families mourn it. I understand how terrible it is because when I was 16 years old in 11th grade, my school was a gun free school zone. And one of my school mates brought guns to school and took our entire school hostage and that happened right down the hall from my classroom. I know the fear that David Hogg had that day, I know the fear that these kids have, and this is why and I say this sincerely with all my heart, because I love our kids, every single one of your children, all of our children.

Marjorie Taylor Greene: (06:04)
I truly believe that children at school should never be left unprotected. I believe they should be just as protected as we were with 30,000 national guardsmen. Our children are our future and they’re our most precious resource. I also want to tell you, 9/11 absolutely happened. I remember that day, crying all day long and watching it on the news and it’s a tragedy for anyone to say it didn’t happen. And so, that I definitely want to tell you, I do not believe that it’s fake. I also want to tell you that we’ve got to do better. You see, big media companies can take teeny tiny pieces of words that I’ve said, that you have said, any of us and can portray us and to someone that we’re not, and that is wrong. Cancel culture is a real thing. It is very real. And when big tech companies like Twitter, you can scroll through and see where someone may have retweeted porn. This is a problem.
This is after she called 9/11 phony.
This is after she called the Parkland shooting phony.
This is after she harassed one of the students of Parkland.
This is after she called Biden's win phony.

Mitch McConell knows she's a fraud...

McConnell: Marjorie Taylor Greene's views are a 'cancer' for the GOP - CNNPolitics
Senate Republican leader Mitch McConnell on Monday issued a tacit rebuke of controversial Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene, slamming the Georgia Republican's "loony lies and conspiracy theories" as a "cancer" for the party.

"Loony lies and conspiracy theories are cancer for the Republican Party and our country," McConnell said in a statement. "Somebody who's suggested that perhaps no airplane hit the Pentagon on 9/11, that horrifying school shootings were pre-staged, and that the Clintons crashed JFK Jr.'s airplane is not living in reality. This has nothing to do with the challenges facing American families or the robust debates on substance that can strengthen our party."
Has she really learned anything? Nah.

Greene quickly shot back on Twitter, asserting that "the real cancer for the Republican Party is weak Republicans who only know how to lose gracefully. This is why we are losing our country."

Perhaps you agree with her positions...
Marjorie Taylor Greene indicated support for executing prominent Democrats in 2018 and 2019 before running for Congress - CNNPolitics
Greene, who represents Georgia's 14th Congressional District, frequently posted far-right extremist and debunked conspiracy theories on her page, including the baseless QAnon conspiracy which casts former President Donald Trump in an imagined battle against a sinister cabal of Democrats and celebrities who abuse children.
In one post, from January 2019, Greene liked a comment that said "a bullet to the head would be quicker" to remove House Speaker Nancy Pelosi. In other posts, Greene liked comments about executing FBI agents who, in her eyes, were part of the "deep state" working against Trump.

Its a matter on weither its true or not.

Taking people's word simply at face value is not a good practice, nor would I ever think its a good idea.

She hasn't earned many people's trust.

And yet you've also demonstrated you don't understand how trauma effects our brain. Literally, it leaves imprints on us and changes us. And it doesn't matter. Someone who has experienced trauma doesn't have to be in a similar situation to panic. It could be a number of things that set people off. Such as, people who have suffered multiple traumas develop a hyperactive prefrontal cortex, putting them in a state that is constantly on high alert. It could be a car driving by and it catches the brain's attention because the brain is conditioned to constantly scan for threats.

Don't need any.

She's clearly a propagandist.

Is there anything that matters to you that is not 'clear' to you?

Or is it only those things that don't really matter to you that you're able to see 'clearly'?

What do you clearly see about of rape survivors who go years without telling even some of their own friends and family about their rape? How many of them do you clearly know come out of their silence only so they can exploit their rape to propagandize people?

Clearly, now. Stick to what's clear to you.

If you say anything that sounds like it must be true, we'll all know you're not talking about something that's clear to you.

There are probably not six people on your side of the aisle on this Forum who will ever reveal a better understanding of anything about AOC than you have. Rejoice! You're in company.

Someday, your side might even get a chance to run the country again.

In fact she has earned many people’s trust.

I haven't up until now paid enough attention to her to much more than give her the benefit of the doubt in most matters, but I can see now it won't be a waste of my time to take a closer look at her and what's she's been doing, etc.

No, she can dance her way out of the corner... She's a heck of a dancer, you know.
