as I am certain that America is an economically based society....
It seems to me.....a businessman should be president
not some old politician who doesn't know how to carry a speech
yeah.....I have an opinion
They seem to forget there are specific appointed economic positions in Government that take care of these things. It's not the president's responsibility.Huh?
What's an economically based society? All societies have their economies.
Unfortunately, the Republican party fights to keep anonymous "dark" unlimited donations. Republicans will also fight tooth and nail to keep corporate lobbying.Ehhh... In my opinion, it has less to do with the kind of man that should have the presidency, and more to do with ripping out the harmful aspects that our political system already has.
Limiting the amount of money spent on campaigns, removing lobbying altogether,
The Democrats don't accept donations from wealthy lobby groups or sign corporate written legislation into law?All thanks to Republicans.
I'm sure they do. But they wouldn't be sitting around approving of it like Republican do. They're the ones who set the stage with what politics currently looks like in America when it comes to corporate donations and lobbying. The Democrats don't accept donations from wealthy lobby groups or sign corporate written legislation into law?

OK, what's an "economic position?" There are lots of civil service positions, but only a few specifically dedicated to economic management. They seem to forget there are specific appointed economic positions in Government that take care of these things. It's not the president's responsibility.
We need optimism. We need a sense of humor and play. We need someone who is (mostly) virtuous. No, we need an aged atheistic engineer groundskeeper businessman.
Sure, some would think that. Others would cheer.I'm curious of how americans (I'm one myself) would feel if an openly attired woman muslim became president or an openly effiminate gay man or a street thug (focused on stereotype not intelligence) became president.
Kind of a sensitive question but we've had predominate white presidents for centuries. Probably mostly christian and more likely straight (sexual orientation).
Do you think americans would be uncomfortable?
I know my parent said if a muslim became president, ISIS has taken over.
