You apparently meant "when."Why is greater than better than equal to?
Er, it isn't.Why is greater than better than equal to?
You apparently meant "when."
It looks to me that you are using two different partial orders:
1. greater/less
2. better/worse
There is no reason to think those different orders relate things consistently.
Er, it isn't.
Religious mathematicsWhy is greater than better than equal to?
I think you will need to stop talking in riddles if you want this to get anywhere.Religiously, why isn't it?
No. Not following.
Better or worse?

I'm not being sarcastic.If you don't understand the question, don't answer. I don't answer all questions because some understand but since I'm not religious, I don't. Fortunetly, there are those who understood so maybe one ask for clarification or two, don't be sarcastic and just don't answer the question.
I'm not being sarcastic.
But OK I'll watch and see who replies, and what they say.
Religious mathematics
Very wisely said. I understand your question. I am on one line with you on this one. Let those who believe so, explain it to us.
In mathematics,
In Christian religious mathematics, according to Matthew 23:11,
- Given >, 5 > 1;
- Given =, 5 = 5;
- Neither > nor = is better (or worse) than the other.

to be greater than another, one should be lesser than the other, and in neither case equal to the other.
Greater is better than equal to when truly deserved. When not truly deserved then we have oppression.
Stvd and osgart got it. It's easier to ask for clarification or be direct with me. Rethorical and indirect questions sounds sarcastic online.
Nicely done!In mathematics,
