It looks to me that you are using two different partial orders:

1. greater/less
2. better/worse

There is no reason to think those different orders relate things consistently.

No. Not following.

Better or worse?

You are ordering things in two different ways:

1. is one 'greater' than another?

2. Is one 'better' than another?

These are two different ways to put things in some order, but there is no reason to think they will put things into the *same* order.

Greater is better than equal to when truly deserved. When not truly deserved then we have oppression.

I think you will need to stop talking in riddles if you want this to get anywhere.

If you don't understand the question, don't answer. I don't answer all questions because some understand but since I'm not religious, I don't. Fortunetly, there are those who understood so maybe one ask for clarification or two, don't be sarcastic and just don't answer the question.

I'm not being sarcastic.

But OK I'll watch and see who replies, and what they say.

Very wisely said. I understand your question. I am on one line with you on this one. Let those who believe so, explain it to us.

Yeah. I got the idea from another thread. I was never a hierarchial person. Probably because of culture, I don't know.

In mathematics,
  • Given >, 5 > 1;
  • Given =, 5 = 5;
  • Neither > nor = is better (or worse) than the other.
In Christian religious mathematics, according to Matthew 23:11,

to be greater than another, one should be lesser than the other, and in neither case equal to the other.

Stvd and osgart got it. It's easier to ask for clarification or be direct with me. Rethorical and indirect questions sounds sarcastic online.

Some religions focus on authority or heirarchy to where spirituality is Greater than humanity. We are limited minded. We have a fault. Something to achieve by a grand mystic experience.

I'm not familiar with, but I assume there are religions that don't place heirarchy in spiritual experiences but all mundane and spiritual are on one accord.

I'm not a heirarcial person but why is something Greater better than seeing everything (lbw) as equal.

Why the dichotomy in spirituality.

The question goes deeper than that, though. I'm surprised some got it as many find it hard to think of being equal to something they feel is greater than themselves.
