At minute 1:34 they quote "...prophet Daniel....many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall increase...." They make two other references in the vid something in Revelation about a world system of commerce and something about the gospel being preached throughout the world before the end.
All of these were done a long, long time ago. There was a world system of commerce multiple times. Knowledge greatly increased, then it flagged, then it increased, then it flagged. Also the gospel, according to Mark 16, was preached to all nations.
These people making this video are no different from what I can see from Tim Lahaye who sold many books but did no one any good, although he said that there would be a one-world government not merely a world system of commerce -- probably because he knew the above about there already being a world system of commerce for a long time. The people making the video are not holier than normal people or more deserving of trust.
No
I'm interested in hearing your thoughts on the subject, do you think the technology of today was foretold in the Bible?
I haven't watched the video, but I've been told of these predictions before.
It's always been about making one retrospective inference from poetic language.
Had technology been different, a different interpretation could've been extracted.
What does the Bible predict about future
technologies....something which could be tested?
I would be more impressed if someone actually used scriptural foretelling in developing of new technology rather than finding resembling patterns in retrospect.
I don't think of the Bible or the scriptures as necessarily foretelling technology, but since the Bible does reveal certain events to take place, it seems also that certain technologies must be in place to coincide with the occurrence of those events.I agree with the comment above, any 'prediction' that requires poetic interpretation is HIGHLY suspect.
"I predict that darkness will fall on the unrighteous, and their eyes will be burnt black by the light of the righteous ones!"
Sooner or later someone who could be interpreted to fit this description will suffer something that could be interpreted to fit it, as well. And 'wallah!', we have us a fulfilled prophesy!
Thanks for your thoughts. I'll share the same thought I shared with someone else...Nice production in the video, but the Bible foretelling technologies is nonsense. The prophecies they refer to are misinterpreted and have nothing to do with technology.
Not at all.

Motorcycles were prophesied in the Old Testament. Yeah, there's a verse in Samuel that says '...the roar of David's Triumph was heard throughout the land..."
This is the funniest statement I've read on the forum in months! I'm still laughing. Thanks for that!
