You sure sound frustrated!
Anything I can do to help?
No, I meant we are not waiting for Jesus. You mean "anything" like facts or evidence and the like?
Gee - I can see how that would be frustrating! We are not waiting for facts and evidence either since we have enough to sink a ship.
The only thing we cannot prove is that God spoke to Baha'ullah, but we have plenty of evidence that indicates God did so. That is all anyone can have for their religion, evidence, since nobody can ever prove that God spoke to anyone, since nobody can ever prove God even exists...
I have the opposite problem... I have too much money and nothing I desire. That's true - unless you can curb your desires - I am foorced to curb mine because I have a limited income!
I do my darndest not to let it frustrate me.
I did, and I didn't at first, but yes - it is all about our choices - that's the bit you're missing at present I think! You'll figure it out...eventually. Not sure you'll like the outcome though......but hey, its all about our choices, isn't it?
Not for me, because i do not even want proof that God exists... that would spoil all the Mystery behind God and all the fun I have talking about God and whether God exists or not.Gee - I can see how that would be frustrating!
Of course you do...Besides, I know God exists without proof...
I do. That is because there is a kind of knowing you do not know about.Of course you do...
I know!I do. That is because there is a kind of knowing you do not know about.
You know there is a kind of knowing you do not know about?I know!
I have the opposite problem... I have too much money and nothing I desire.
I do not even want to retire even though I could... go figure.
I also think a frustrating life would be to never allow yourself to live a good life. A lot of our troubles come from our own minds. We talk ourselves out of happiness, sometimes. I have done this, too. And that is frustrating, when you know you are holding yourself back. I have since stopped acting like that, and life has been so much better!
Yeah, every once in a while, Jehovah will let His organization go through a sifting, as Jesus did @ John 6, to clean out those serving with wrong motives.... It works, apparently. From house to house to house, from door to door... ...from month to month, from year to year...
and what about "expectation postponed"...1874, 1914, 1925, 1975...this generation - no not that generation, this generation - and a century on from "millions now living"...
Well, like you said...go figure....
That right there is a profound comment! Seriously. We don't need to find the secrets to life...but instead, of our own lives.Glad to hear that!
Sounds like you may have found the secret of life - or at least the secret of your own life.

Apparently! Its so successful that it is repeated over and over again. That must be frustrating!
As an example of how God "sifts" his people - or another example of how the WT oscillates and waffles in its interpretations of Biblical symbolism? The parable of the dragnet comes to mind.
