Christians & Jews not accepting Allah?

Do Jews and Christians believe Allah is their God?

Whats interesting is how Christians of West says Allah is not their god because of words they claim such as cruelty and unforgiving. The irony is that they take OT as holy Book, we all know how God is portrayed in OT.

So why are they also not sayng: God of OT is not our God.

The question of the identification of one god with another is a difficult one. When you are talking about the Supreme Being, it would seem simple: how many Supreme Beings could you have? Thomas Aquinas accepted that anyone who worshiped such a being was worshiping the same God as the Christians: he accepted that in cases where most Muslims would not, such as those where some-one worships God but otherwise remains a polytheist.

But there is a problem. Imagine you have set out on a journey. You arrive late at a railway station and just catch the train. But it's the wrong train. You want to go to X, and you think you're going to X, but in reality you're on your way to Y. If your concept of God is radically flawed, can you be said to be worshiping God, and not some construction of your own imagination?

Probably also the fact that, in his timeless and uncreated scripture, he told them their beliefs were polytheistic, corrupt and foolish and they would burn in hell if they didn't repent.

Might have something to do with it also.

Jews believe that G-d is called Allah in Arabic. Not because Jews believe in the Qur'an but because that's the word in Arabic that is used for G-d. I never heard any Jew say that they don't believe in the Qur'anic Allah because he is cruel and unforgiving. Its because we don't believe that the concept of the Qur'an fits with the Torah and we do believe in the Torah.

Why is it allowed for a Jew to pray in a mosque if it isn't the same God?

Because its not idol worship. Its correct enough, to put it another way.
How many religions places (temples) could the Jews pray inside ?

Does that include the Christian Churches?

Given that I'm a monotheist, I believe that there is only one God.
All of us who believe in a God (or gods), to my understanding, believe in the same one. Even if we have very different ideas of how that God exists.

God is a word. Allah means The God. El means Power. YHWH has other ideas but if it comes from Havah means He exists.

These are to me words. Concepts change. But to say these are different Gods is in fact stupid.

Biggest issue is that we think of all these words from the keyhole of the English word "God".

La ilaha illah means there is no divinity other than The Divinity.

No, as true Christians we worship only Jehovah as Sovereign Ruler and God. (Matthew 4:10) The Bible is one book, and reflects Jehovah's wonderful qualities throughout, IMO.

No,we don't. We love God more than we are afraid of Him.
