Dinosaurs and man.

Well there are some Christians who hold that the Biblical leviathan is a reference to a sauropod of some description. Of course, they generally tend to ignore that later in the Bible it says God will slay the leviathans at the Apocalypse. God vs. diplodocus smackdown? Yep...

The best explanation I've heard was that God created the evidence to appear that way, ie, much older than it is.
Another I see is simply that evidence is always examined with an agenda, & almost anything can be rationalized.
Example: Look at all the people who see the state of our economy, & find Obama's performance dismal. Yet
others say Obama is doing a stellar job. Whatever one wants to believe, the evidence is there if one looks at
the right things in the right way.

That was the answer I was given by the pastor of the pentecostal church I attended as a young person when I questioned him about dinosaurs. My faith began to slide with that stupid answer. I wondered what else he was lying about!

I think Obama is doing a good job. The US isn't the laughingstock it was under Dubya!

Not for the rest of us. You're still letting the likes of Sarah Palin open their pie-holes on teevee. Oh, the hilarity!

I don't do TV news, so I don't see such things. I'm a little preoccupied with the Fed's destroying the commercial real estate market.
It seems that everyone else is getting a bail-out, but we're seeing every solution we try to engineer become a "taxable event", with
the gov't wanting to take a huge chunk of money we don't have. Nothing bites more than having to pay income taxes on a loss.

I wonder if the dinosaurs went extinct cuz they elected Republicrats to manage their predation?

Let me start by saying that I believe that the Bible is the inspired word of God. I know, you are getting tired of hearing that but it is important to why I believe what I believe about this subject. The Bible says that all life owes its existence to the Creator and that includes mankind and the dinosaurs. Which means absolutely nothing about whether man and dinosaurs lived at the same time. Any questions?

In the UK someone of the Sarah Palin ilk wouldn't be taken seriously for one second, but would certainly be the subject of much hilarity.

I'll never understand partisans....Democrats mock Palin, but will actually vote someone like Biden into office.
I'm sure I was born into the wrong universe. Now there's something we can all agree upon!

The Bible says that all original life forms were created in one week and that includes mankind and the dinosaurs. Which means man and dinosaurs lived at the same time. Any questions?

So then what is your opinion about radiometric dating? Do you think god set up the laws of physics to trick us?

The story of creation in Genesis is the beginning of (human) time. The beginning is before the first day of creation...not time. This means the earth was flooded, desolate, and in darkness. The wordage "was formless" can be translated "became"...the earth had "become" that way at some point in the time it was first created (whenever) prior to these 6 mentioned 'remodeling' days. These verses shows that there was a previous world before God allowed Jesus to created this present world of modern man. I believe the dinosaurs were on that prior earth....

In Canada the shower of freaks that is presently running the show are on Palin's planet but the PM doesn't let them speak in public so most Canadians aren't aware of it.

Neither of us are Americans or Democrats, Revoltingest. We come by our contempt for Palin honestly, and our sentiments are shared pretty much unanimously outside your borders regardless of our party affiliations at home. She's an idiot, a nut and a clown. Her popularity in the US is completely mystifying to the rest of us.
