Pakistan isn't scary at all,sure its got Nukes,sure it stones more people to death than even Iran,sure it has a sprinkling of Taleban who are getting more power all the time and it does have other issues and as long as you don't play them at Cricket you'll be fine

It's slightly bigger than Colorado in area, and it has a literacy rate of 21%. It is roughly 10% Christian, 50% Muslim, and it has the capability of developing gunpowder at any moment.

Seriously though: Pakistan is scary, so is Russia, so is North Korea. Lets not forget about Iran and their nuke program, etc...
My opinion is that Israel is the most dangerous country. They are a Jewish Nation surrounded by Islamic Nations. They take no BS from anybody, send in the military at the drop of a hat, have military capability and would do anything to stop its neighbors from having nukes, etc.... You talk about instability, that area of the world has been unstable since before any of us were born! It wouldn't take much to start a full scale war in that area. Look at all the scirmishes in the past few years involving Israel.

I`m right in the middle of the third chapter of Naomi Kleins "Shock Doctrine".
With that in mind I`d say the US is the most dangerous country.
At least for any other country it may have it`s eye on.
I may change my mind once I can get some of these images out of my head.

You guys are killing me. I live in eastern Kentucky, and I've been through Corbin probably 40 times in my life. It has grown signficantly over the last 20 years, but the people that live there are still pretty removed from the rest of the country.

First I have to bow in appreciation for finally having my nation of residence being recognized in this thread
now secondly. I feel that since I am an Israeli citizen I should throw my 2 cents.
Israel is a nation of only a few million strong. the fact that Israel is doing all in its abillity to fight for its interests and security is just part of the regional and international political landscape. if we put things in proportions, then although Israel has fought many Arab armies, we need to acknolweldge that this whole Jewish-Muslim conflict is not really in tuned with reality, because Arab and Muslim militaries have been fighting each through out modern times, for example the body count of the Iran-Iraq war is estimated to be over a million, this makes the entire series of Israeli-Arab wars null in terms of casualties. the ammount of Palestinians killed by the Jordanian army surpresses by thousands and thousands the death toll of Palestinians by the IDF, im not saying that to discredit the Israeli-Palestinian conflict which is on going as we speak, but simply to make people understand that the middle east can be an unstable region, and its modern lay out was architectured by the European colonial powers, at times with great disregard to the local geographical interests.
At least when Israel uses its military power itdoes not send its troops thousands of miles away from home to fight for its interests, like the superpowers do. but uses its military to secure its own borders, the death tolls caused by the IDF is only a fraction of that of the mega powers of the world, like Russia and the US, further more the casualties caused by the fire of the IDF are a result of the IDF pushing forth security interests for its citizens who are targeted in certain areas.
