I agree. On another thread, I listed the premiere of Beethoven's Ninth as one of the three events in history I'd like to witness if I could go back in time.

Just thinking about it gives me goose bumps. I recently had the pleasure of seeing it performed live by the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra, and it was brilliant. It's one thing to listen to the CD, but to see it live is excrutiatingly beautiful, and I can only imagine what it would be like to witness its premiere.

and safe vaults behind portraits......

Well I certainly have no IPod
to hide in my non existent vault
behind my non commissioned portrait.......
and that is all I care to divulge (at this time).
