It is. I wasn't paying attention to the spelling.
If you don't have any Avenged Sevenfold, I recomend you checking them out.
They might be a little too crazy for me but with YouTube coming along....it's alot easier to check out new stuff so I'll do that. I may of heard some of their work but am just not remembering.

I found this pic for Circle One the other day. She likes Zacky but not Avenged's music I guess. :p

1) Mrs. Robinson - Simon and Garfunkel
2) Enjoy - Bjork
3) Take it Easy - Mint Royale

5) Ohio - Neil Young
6) Isobel - Dido
7) Jerusalem - Matisyahu
8) Dream On - Depeche Mode

Everyone should load Eric Claptons Cocaine onto their music player. :) My absolute favorite, as well as Ohio by Neil Young. Everytime I listen to that song by Neil Young it sends shivers up and down my spine. My guilty pleasure is Daddy I'm Fine by Sinead O'Connor.

As large as my music library is (well over 2000 songs), I'm surprised Stabbing Westward came up twice.

A second run through:
Stonesour - First Person
In Flames - Only for the Weak
Ministry - World
Aerosmith - Amazing
Hatebreed - Prepare for War
Fear Factory 540,000 Degrees Fahrenhiet
Megadeth - Moto Psycho
Lacuna Coil - Our Truth
Limp Bizkit - Behind Blue Eyes
Godsmack - Vampires
Next listed is Buckethead - Welcome to Buckethead Land.

Everyone should definitly have Behind Blue Eyes, either Limp Bizkits cover or The Who's original.

Time to crank this game up again. Remember, be honest. Shuffle your ipod or MP3 player and list the first five songs that come up. Remember to tell us about either your guilty pleasure or the song everyone should listen to from your list.

Here's mine:

Steve Miller Band, "Jet Airliner"
Sufjan Stevens, "No Man's Land"
Norah Jones, "Sunrise"
Dire Straits, "Walk of Life"
Hanz Zimmer, "Bakara"

If you haven't heard Sufjan Stevens, I recommend giving him a try. This song, "No Man's Land", I first heard on the Little Miss Sunshine soundtrack and was caught up immediately.

Time for an iPod check. Hit the shuffle on your ipod or mp3 player and list the first ten songs in order as they come up: song title and artist. Be honest!

Of the ten, pick the ones that best fit the following categories:

(1) The song everybody should load onto their player
(2) The "guilty pleasure" (or, "what was I thinking when I put that on there?")

I bet you don't even realize how discriminatory this is. Some of us don't have iPods. Thanks for making me feel left out. :(

Sorry dude. Randomly grab a "mix" cd or tape you've made and list the first five tracks. That works, too.

It's ok, I was just kidding (about the being sad part, I really don't have an iPod). the funniest part? I don't have any mix tapes or CDs, at least not anymore. :)

I rec'd my first ipod for Mother's Day this year.

Sandy (John Travolta, Grease)
Travelin Man (Ricky Nelson)
How Do You Remind Me (Nickleback)
I Don't Want To Know (Fleetwood Mac)
One of Us (Joan Osborn)

Half the songs loaded so far are my hub's picks.

Lol - I probably wouldn't either if my husband wasn't such a gadget guy. Though he still sometimes refers to his iPod as a "walkman". He'll say "have you seen my walkman"? And I'm like "2008 - perhaps you've heard of it?" Makes me laugh. Anyway, my shuffle results are:

"Broken" by Jack Johnson from the Curious George soundtrack
"Believe it Too" by the Lucky Strikes (Austin based swing band)
"Mustang Sally" by Wilson Pickett
"World Where You Live" by Crowded House
"Mornin Dove" Robinella and the CC String Band - Love them! Check them out!
:)

I don't have an iPod, and I use iTunes mostly for spoken word. If I really did a random selection of my files, it would be mostly Buddhist, Quaker, and infidel podcasts. There's not that much music on there. But here are ten random songs from what music I do have:

1. One Monkey Don't Stop No Show - Francine Reed
2. Symphony No. 9 (Scherzo) - Beethoven
3. Dancin' In the Moonlight - Orleans
4. Du Liegst Mir Im Herzen - Marlene Dietrich
5. Baby, It's Cold Outside - Ella Fitzgerald & Louis Jordan
6. Banana Boat Song (Day-O) - Harry Belafonte
7. Rough Side of the Mountain - Rev. F. C. Barnes & Rev. Janice Brown
8. Moonlight Bay - Alice Faye
9. Funny How Time Slips Away - B. B. King and Bobby Blue Bland
10. Here I Am - Lyle Lovett

You might get the impression from that list that most of my favorite artists are dead, but that's really not the case. I just looks that way. :)

Everyone should have: Honestly, my favorite on the list is "One Monkey Don't Stop No Show," but I guess I'll do the right thing and pick "Baby, It's Cold Outside."

Guilty Pleasure: "Day-O." It's just fun; I don't really feel guilty at all. :)

Yes, and let me compliment you on #2 also, MB. That is the finest piece of music ever written.
I agree. On another thread, I listed the premiere of Beethoven's Ninth as one of the three events in history I'd like to witness if I could go back in time.
