Several transgenders here are arguing that kids should make that decision.
To quote myself:Ok. What are you actually saying?
That's what fundamentalists Christians widely believe, and they think they have all the answers and they are contained in the Bible.
Amd it is entirely inappropriate for the government to decide someone can't get a treatment that a doctor has approved for a patient. They need to butt out and let these things be decided between patient and doctor, people going through it and those who have actually studied it, not cispeople who know very little about the subject yet go on harping on about what they think as if it should matter and count for something.
In what world do these two statements mean the same thing?
"... it is adult transgenders wanting to make decisions for children"
"Several transgenders here are arguing that kids should make that decision."
Not to mention that I literally said that they should receive a diagnosis first. Most people here agreed. So we are saying that trained medical professionals should be allowed to use their professional training and opinion to allow appropriate candidates to access hormone replacement therapy (and I didn't even mention surgery).
Your attempts to change your story are pathetic. Have fun straw-manning others and thinking of us as sexual predators for no reason.
Of courseA medical Dr can perform the procedure at any age of the child. Several years of psychological counseling should be done when the child hits their teens
It's medical research and organizations that have approved these treatments. What it is is adult transgenders wanting to make decisions for children
To quote myself:
Who exactly is making that argument?Wow!!! Really??
"it is adult transgenders wanting to make decisions for children"
I was repying to a transgender...
"Several transgenders here are arguing that kids should make that decision."
It speaks for its self.
It's medical research and organizations that have approved these treatments.
Amd to demonstrate how under informed bigoted cises are, go to any webpage you can find that's of a doctor who performs bottom surgeries. You will see a lot of "no one under 18/no minors." Sometimes they'll do it with parental consent. Regardless of age, they all require two letters of recommendation from someone schooled and trained and continually educated in the subject (most, if not all medical field positions require continued education).
What the serious hell, dude? An honest reading and presentation of what I said will NEVER render such garbage. So a 10 year old knows what's best. Got it.
My 9yo grandson wants to be a cop. The Dr's should approve him for police academy because its what he wants...at this time of being 10 years old
Who exactly is making that argument?
I’m cis by the way
I seriously doubt you have any idea what research actually does say about teenage psychology."It's medical research and organizations that have approved these treatments."
Its also research that show minors are competent enough to choose for theirself.
It's called a public forum. Was my post to you?

I dunno honesty lolWas my post to you?
One strawman after another.Simple question. Do you think anyone say 16 and under should be able to make the decision to have a complete sex change?
At what age should they be able to make that decision?

One strawman after another.
When you do not know ask politely. I am sure that @Shadow Wolf would gladly inform you much better than I can if you dropped the strawman arguments and asked her politely about trans people.
That's not for me to decide. That is for that individual and the team of providers involved. That is for researchers to investigate and uncover.Simple question. Do you think anyone say 16 and under should be able to make the decision to have a complete sex change?
