If Americans hadn't elected a Sultan in 2008, Italians would feel much safer.
Being in a particularly unsafe Mediterranean area where wars fueled by fundamentalism have destabilized entire countries.

So the Tsar is much better than the Sultan. The Tsar is Christian.

Sadly, Russia has been conquered and oppressed so many times by so many of it's own political factions that it has no comprehension of how to be a free people. Having to bow to whatever "Dear Leader" is running things in the moment is all they've ever knows. Defeating Hitler while living under Stalin is hardly any sort of "victory".

It's a matter of economic models.
Western neo-liberism has failed.
Russians' socialism is much better, especially when you see a bank, the Gazprombank that is protected by the Russian State from the covetous, ravenous wolves that would like to maul it.

Referring to Obama as a "Sultan" is a blatant dog whistle of anti-Muslim chauvinists and conspiracy theorists. It's not lost on most here.

Also, you don't speak for all or even most Italians. That much has become obvious too.

In other words, it's about your religious preferences. Never mind that Putin is a war criminal, imperialist, abusive interventionist, and one of the "elites" you supposedly rail against; all of that is fine as long as the person doing it is a Russian Christian rather than an American.

Putin would have handled the Libyan situation much better. It's a fact.
And Obama admitted what they did in Libya was something to regret.

No, it's not. Seeing how Putin "handled" Syria—by aiding Assad in his chemical attacks and crimes—doesn't exactly lead me to believe he would have done well in Libya.

I'm not a fan of Obama, but you won't see me trying to excuse Putin's numerous crimes by haphazardly bringing up Obama's issues.

You sure do have a novel view of US politics.
I not only see Obama as a Christian, but I say that
his religion influenced him in bad directions, eg,
opposing gay marriage.
