No, I don't. I don't need to. Everyone in the village knows he's an alcoholic who is incapable of working. Nothing I'm saying is exaggerated or untrue. I've had to have the police round because he locked me out in an alcoholic rage once.
It's not like you can just up and move out, you know. It's not that simple. Who has that kind of money? Even as a teaching assistant, just renting a one bedroom place is out of my budget.
Yes, why wouldn't I be?
OK....
This now seems not to be just about telly noise at night.
It now has enlarged...... your Dad is an unemployed drinker who has raged at you previously, and thrown you out before this time. You are a teaching assistant who cannot afford a bedsit (whatever) and it seems that no other family or friends have offered you accommodation. Is that about right?
If so, the telly thing is a part of the whole, am I right?
Nobody on RF knows your Dad, and so nobody can know about attempts to communicate with him. I wonder how he came to be in his present situation? What happened to your Dad, I wonder...? Is he an angry man about his past?
I also wonder whether you have asked your doctor for counselling service? Where I live that's free, but if it costs then I would understand that it won't be such a good idea.
I wonder if your friends or family might offer advice about the whole situation. .... beyond the telly thing?
