That looks awesome. I wish more houses where that colorful, regardless of reason... but hey, now at least one good thing has come from all that crap.

If they really want to have an impact, they should do mardi gras on that street.

Never before have I seen the least thing in this country get what seems like the most attention from people in this country.

Then you have to shake your head realizing that is exactly what these people want.

Planting Peace starts orphanages and paints houses all pretty like. That's cool.

If it wasn't for the roof that would be a pretty house. And how I hope it makes that congregations skin crawl to see it.

    unfortunately not

though someone should tell this guy to read his own bible more, particularly the part where jesus specifically says the sin of sodom was : "Ezekeiel 16:49-50:"Now this was the sin of your sister Sodom: She and her daughters were arrogant, overfed and unconcerned; they did not help the poor and needy. They were haughty and did detestable things before me. Therefore I did away with them as you have seen."

Only Jude claimed it had anything to do with sexuality and even then homosexuality wasn't associated with it until centuries later

Interesting. The rainbow flag has more than one use. I was in Italy during one of the middle eastern wars and the flag was festooned everywhere with PACE (Peace).

You mean, someone should read the bible to this guy more. You don't actually think he's literate, do you?

Actually, the history of Fred Phelps may very well surprise you.

To so easily dismiss someone as illiterate certainly says alot of yourself.

Phhht...take a throwaway comment as literal if you like. I obviously don't know whether the bloke being interviewed is functionally literate or not. I was aware Fred Phelps had done some civil rights work, but not the scope. But to be honest, it doesn't change my opinion of him IN THE LEAST. So there is a group spared his particular brand of hatred...by his own words he believes they are all going to hell anyway, given that he has said only the WBC represents the word of God, and only those following it's teachings will go to Heaven.

I was trying to work out how to frame my actual thoughts about the WBC. The throwaway line seemed healthier than ranting. So, instead of ranting now, or making another admittedly cheap comment, I'll just let the man speak for himself...

This is real-life trolling at its greatest! Brilliant maneuver on their part.
I am not even a fond support of "Equal Marriage" and I find this hilarious. Perhaps the people who bought the house can give Rush Limbaugh some advice on how to troll. ;)
