That what I thought. The house looks spectacular. :0)That looks awesome. I wish more houses where that colorful, regardless of reason... but hey, now at least one good thing has come from all that crap.
If it wasn't for the roof that would be a pretty house. And how I hope it makes that congregations skin crawl to see it.
from article said:As for their neighbors, Steve Drain, a member of the Westboro Baptist Church, told the Daily News that they arent worried about the goofy rainbow house.
I think its amazing. I thank God for that house, he said, because what it does is shine a brighter and brighter light on our message.
He said that if the church was not preaching that God hates **** and God hates ***-enablers, there wouldnt be anything unique about painting a rainbow house across the street from them.
This is just another instance where someone is declaring their sin as Sodom, he said, referencing Isaiah 3:9, but that doesnt change Gods word.
Interesting. The rainbow flag has more than one use. I was in Italy during one of the middle eastern wars and the flag was festooned everywhere with PACE (Peace).
Genesis 9 said:12 And God said, This is the token of the covenant which I make between me and you and every living creature that is with you, for perpetual generations:
13 I do set my bow in the cloud, and it shall be for a token of a covenant between me and the earth.
14 And it shall come to pass, when I bring a cloud over the earth, that the bow shall be seen in the cloud:
15 And I will remember my covenant, which is between me and you and every living creature of all flesh; and the waters shall no more become a flood to destroy all flesh.
someone should tell this guy to read his own bible more
Actually, the history of Fred Phelps may very well surprise you.You mean, someone should read the bible to this guy more. You don't actually think he's literate, do you?
To so easily dismiss someone as illiterate certainly says alot of yourself.Phelps took cases on behalf of African-American clients alleging racial discrimination by school systems, and a predominantly black American Legion post which had been raided by police, alleging racially based police abuse.[14] Phelps' law firm obtained settlements for some clients.[15] Phelps also sued President Ronald Reagan over Reagan's appointment of a U.S. ambassador to the Vatican, alleging this violated separation of church and state. The case was dismissed by the U.S. district court.[15][16] Phelps' law firm, staffed by himself and family members also represented non-white Kansans in discrimination actions against Kansas City Power and Light, Southwestern Bell, and the Topeka City Attorney, and represented two female professors alleging discrimination in Kansas universities.[13]
In the 1980s, Phelps received awards from the Greater Kansas City Chapter of Blacks in Government and the Bonner Springs branch of the NAACP, for his work on behalf of black clients.[15]
