I can't think of much that I don't want to read that wouldn't be a rule violation around here. And as staff, I have to read this stuff. I read all sorts of crap I would rather not read around here. Comes with the job, unfortunately.

I used to use the ignore button, but emptied my ignore list about a month ago. I don't plan to use it again. It messes up conversations, especially in chat. Plus, I'd rather know what people are saying so I can report them, if need be.

I've used it when members have responded in ways (unintentionally I should note) that resurface past trauma.

Three times in the last ten years. I am not easily triggered. But when it happens, it hits hard. Not worth my time or my sanity, so the ignore function has proven to be helpful for me psychologically.
