Psychology Of Forum Users

Myself and my partner are currently conducting an experiment on behalf of an certain organisation on the psychology of internet users, and, more specifically, those who use Internet Discussion Forums.

It would be of great aid to our study if a few members of Religious Education were to take the time (3 minutes or so, is all) to fill out an online test which can be found via this link: http://www.humanmetrics.com/cgi-win/JTypes2.asp

When the results come through, they will be in the form of four letters. For example, the results recieved by myself after sitting the test were "INFP".

If you would post these here, on this thread (or PM them to myself if you wish to remain annyonomous) we would be most greatful for your contribution.

The results of the test will incourse be posted here themselves upon completion of the study.

Thankyou for your time.

-Daibhidh.

You are:
 • moderately expressed extrovert
 • moderately expressed intuitive personality
 • moderately expressed feeling personality
 • very expressed perceiving personality
My experience with these tests is that they tend to be somewhat accurate.

ENFJ - though I've taken tests like these before and the results seem to shift over time. It says I'm a Teacher. The first three have switched over the course of the last decade. I've always been judgemental (at least I'm honest...).

I agree....it would probably be a challenge to repeat the same answers even a week later.

ENFJ I took this test about a year ago and scored the same....guess I haven't changed much! :)

Extroverted....11%
Intuitive........58%
Feeling..........38%
Judging............1%

Not sure if you need the percentages, but thought I'd add them anyway.

This is a condensed version of the Myers-Briggs personality test. It's normal for your results to shift over time. For one thing, what you do for a living (or as a student) will emphasize certain traits and actually affect how you approach things.

I was INTP in college when i first took it. Then I was INTJ in grad school in the natural sciences. Now I'm INFP while I spend most of my time thinking about religion. Makes sense to me. :)

moderately expressed introvert
distinctively expressed intuitive personality
slightly expressed feeling personality
slightly expressed perceiving personality

Thanks, but no thanks. Luck has nothing to do with it.

If you are not interested in what we are doing here (with a system that is older than you) do not waste my time by posting.

Have a good day, my undefinable friend.
This is rather rude. In the field of psychology (or any field where you deal with human participation), you are always going to find some people who are resistant to participating. If this is how you react, then you're not going to do well. If I saw you responding this way to a test subject in an office, I would walk out and tell everyone I met not to bother helping you.

That's very true Lilithu!

The way in which the study is being conducted right now leaves little room for error, in light of its ultimate goal. It concerns today. "This moment in time". The changes of the past to not hold a bearing on our direction!

Thanks for taking part! ;)

i really do not think i qualified my personality in this

i am happy to socialise, i can socialise, i can fit into most social situations, but i choose to hold a small select group of close friends

INFJ ---- glad to help, but as a researcher myself I think that lilithu is absolutely right on the ethics issue.

I tried the test, but found myself unable to answer many of the questions accurately. If only personality were so cut and dried. I specifically did not like how some of the questions were worded, leaving one with an all or nothing approach. Pretty simplistic thinking. Your so-called study will only reveal truths about those who are easily pegged and is ultimately indicative of nothing at all, except perhaps your own presuppositions. Good Luck.

I tend to agree, but curiosity got to me.............:D
ISFJ

Introverted: 89%
Sensing:38%
Feeling :62%
Judging 11%

 • very expressed introvert
 • moderately expressed sensing personality
 • distinctively expressed feeling personality

Lilithu was correct that this is a condensed Meyers Briggs test (and has nothing to do with Jung).

Normally in this test, there would be a lot more questions. Many of those questions would be similar, but with distinctly different wording. The purpose is to determine specifically where the all-or-nothing break point happens.

Extroverted (moderate)
iNtuitive (moderate)
Thinking (strong)
Perceiving (slight in this test - but probably moderate to strong in a full test)

Indeed. I took the actual Myers-Briggs personality test 4 years ago and I've taken the online version several times since.

I'm an INTJ. Commonly known as the Mastermind...Muahahahaha (oh, sorry, it can be hard to keep my inner villain in check sometimes  )

Even though I've taken this test numerous times, I always get the same results although the percentages vary a little bit. I just took this exact test a week or so ago and posted my results for discussion on another forum, so I'm certain I'm still an INTJ. If you absolutely need the percentages, let me know and I'll take it again for you.

The test is quite simplistic, but most of these sorts of tests are in some fashion. My results were:

INFP - "The Healer" (?)
 • very expressed introvert
 • moderately expressed intuitive personality
 • moderately expressed feeling personality
 • distinctively expressed perceiving personality
I don't how accurate it is, because I don't really know how possible it is to gauge one's own personality. But there you go, anyways!
