The last time I heard, everyone in a democratic state generally has the right to voice their opinion. If one doesn't like it, then maybe don't listen or speak up against it.

Twilight, not bright nor dark, good nor bad.
Seriously?
Have you never compared the State of the Union when Clinton took office and when he left, and when Bush II took office and when he left, and when Obama took office and when he left?
Tom
Yes seriously. He actually does his job rather than spend all ones time trying to create a socialist "Utopia"* while infatuated with making a coup attempt.

*More accurately socialist dystopia.

This looks more like a No.
Coupled with a transparently partisan bias having nothing to do with reality.

Take a look at the State of the Union when Obama took office and when he left. By what objective standards were we worse off?

It's sorta sad that those who condemn "Socialist Democrats" apparently are totally unaware of the fact that is was these "Socialist Democrats" that fought for more freedom for blacks, women, and various other minorities. They also fought and still fight for better educational and health programs for children.

Meanwhile, those opposed to these nasty "Socialist Democrats" pretty much have deified what's most important to them, the god of $.

Healthcare for starters.

A Perpetual socialist debt called the Mandate levied on people and if you hadn't forgotten, originally came with the threat of jail and prison time.

Thank god that hadn't gone through , and Trump was able to put a knife through the heart of the mandate and was able to free millions of people from forced economic slavery by the Socialists.

Out of control illegal immigration , the mega disaster that is called DACA

A complete mess in Syria aka the red line and the Iran nuclear deal which left me wondering if he was completely insane.

Obama solar and various and oftentimes ridiculous green Enterprises™ and the immense cost to put on the shoulders of the American people.

Obama (government owned) Motors. Controlling the means of production I might add. But of course they sold all the stock, right?

Shall I continue on?

What a complete line of Lies and pure b*******. Lol.

One look at the fifties and sixties and we all know who the real advocates are when it comes to championing minority rights and freedoms. It's all recorded in the Library of Congress.

Jim Crow anybody?

WWMRD?
correction, a regressive conservative!!

Hopefully you can someday progress past the identity politics.

What do you think of those in media that openly admit they want to use the power of media to manipulate public opinion?

Seriously?
Obama implemented the Republican plan for healthcare reform, and that makes him a socialist?
And all Trump did was repeal the mandate(which I hated by the way. I despised the ACA from the get go). What he promised was to do was "Repeal and Replace". With Something Great! Which the Republicans had been working on and promising for 7 years.
Color me unimpressed.

But you don't seem to think that the disaster that was the US economy and foreign policy and skyrocketing federal spending and mushrooming debt are such a big deal?
Sorry dude. Looks like total partisan BS to me.

Yes, but the key here is 'entertainment' the purpose of which is not to present 'fact'.
Alas, many people form impressions, & even get news from entertainment sources.
(Young'ns like The Daily Show.)

Some seem unaware of the fact that what was called the "Southern Democrats" are now largely Republicans, plus the SD's represented one faction of the Dems, and very much a minority one at that.

The Pubs, otoh, resisted civil rights legislation as they sided with the SD on that issue in the South. The turning point for the S.D's largely occurred starting in the latter 1960's after LBJ signed into law two major civil rights acts that upset the S.D.'s, who then left the S.D.'s in droves to the point whereas there's not many of them left.

These two links will explain it:
Civil Rights Act of 1964 - Wikipedia
Civil Rights Act of 1968 - Wikipedia

Also, someone maybe should check out this (scroll down to 3.19 and below): Civil rights movement - Wikipedia
