    Another question.
Where are the scriptures that you speak of? Specifically?
ah, I misunderstood. I thought you felt you left Jehovah because you had left JW.
So, I like your answers. I think you’re on a good path.
But what do I know anyway?
Just curious, why do you think JW are wrong?
(My opinion, EVERY religion is wrong, but what do I know)
Are you searching for a replacement of JW.?

I do not know which ones you are asking about.

Heaven help me! It is what THEY say. I don't believe it.

    Thank you.
As much as most people do, probably.
How much time do you have?
    I think you are right!
    No.

    Yes, I agree totally.
Where did you discover what God’s Son called his Father?

I just know what he didn't call God. Jehovah is a modern translation of יהוה‎

If someone righteous, like John the Baptist, was to appear here he would not know we were talking about God with "Jehovah".

O my, I think you misunderstood my misunderstanding.
I thought that you thought that you left Jehovah.
I’m glad that is not the case.

Also, I have all the time that God has given me.

And, the thing about the scriptures was referring to your original comment about scriptures. I have my own take on scriptures.
Are there any particular scriptures you find useful?

"Abba, Father," he said, "everything is possible for you. Take this cup from me. Yet not what I will, but what you will." Mark 14:36

    Matthew 26:39
Going a little farther, He fell facedown and prayed, "My Father, if it is possible, let this cup pass from Me. Yet not as I will, but as You will."

    Matthew 26:42
A second time He went away and prayed, "My Father, if this cup cannot pass unless I drink it, may Your will be done."

    John 18:11
"Put your sword back in its sheath!" Jesus said to Peter. "Shall I not drink the cup the Father has given Me?"

    Romans 8:15
For you did not receive a spirit of slavery that returns you to fear, but you received the Spirit of sonship, by whom we cry, "Abba! Father!"

    Galatians 4:6
And because you are sons, God sent the Spirit of His Son into our hearts, crying out, "Abba, Father!"

    Very likely so.
Would he know who we were talking about if he heard us say Jesus?

Since those are Hebrew letters, to me it's helpful to see how at least some Jews interpret them. And the answer for some is "breath". I've seen this in more than one place. Here's one example.

What follows is a brief summary of my approach on the question of pronouncing the "Yod-Hei-Vav-Hei" Name of God that in transliteration comes out "YHWH":

    1) It is unpronounceable in my view not because we are forbidden to pronounce it — that understanding is in my view a way of avoiding the deeper truth — but because if one tries to do so, pronouncing these four strange letters (semi-vowels, semi-consonants; linguists call them aspirate consonants) WITHOUT any vowels, one simply breathes.

    ...
In Sha'ar HaNikud, Reb Josef Gikatilla points out that all of the letters involved in God's name are vowels. Vav in hebrew can be used for oo and oh, heh can be used for ah, and yud can be used for eh, ay, and ey (as in, e.g., mosadai). The vowels move the consonants— they make the other words audible (because consonants cannot be pronounced without vowles). Hence, underlying every consonant and word of both divine and human speech is the energy of the vowels, which are God's name/ruah hakodesh. So God's name is what pronounces everything.

I do not have much time today.
They say that only people who died after Jesus dies will ever see Heaven.
They say Jesus is pictured in Revelation 6:2, but he is in Heaven opening scrolls.
They say the will of God is to make people disciples of Jesus.
They say their governing body is alone understanding the will of God.
They say everything but them is of Satan.
They say the 1000 years of Jesus Christ is a definite number.
They say the 144,000 is also a definite number.
They believe in salvation by works.

Well, once you start this subject on this post, you cannot avoid atheist input, commentaries. Frankly, I don't mind speaking on the subject but am not interested in the comments from the side gallery. I don't need atheistic opinions on this subject. That is why I suggested the conversation. Of course, just leaving it be is another choice. Either way.

As I said, I am not interested in having this subject scrutinized by atheist. I don't need their mindless noise in my ears on this subject.

By the way when I asked if you were searching for a replacement for JW, it is not because I have one.
It’s because I was thinking of Matthew 7:7.
You left the religion, that’s step 1.
Step 2 will be searching. I’ll tell you what I have found so far.
It’s not an easy journey (the world makes it extremely difficult), but it’s exciting. Very exciting. You must leave the world and all it’s man made thoughts behind. You must force your mind to think like a child with a fresh clean slate for a brain. Matthew 18:3-4. Then be prepared ‘to go down the rabbit hole’. We live in wondrous times. Everything we need is at our fingertips. This has not been the case throughout most of human history.
God bless and I pray you find what you need.

OK. Who brought up atheists? Me? I am not an atheist. I just said that nobody, even atheists can get away from The Lord God.

I think you misunderstand what I intended. I simply do not want to discuss God's name in public.
I can give you this tiny goodie:

It is indeed sad to see what happens to those who leave our ranks but can never find a replacement spiritual home. They don't always go quietly and for some reason they just want to beat up on their former family members.

You can't unlearn the truth, so having the trinity debunked, hell well and truly hosed down and the grave being the place where all souls sleep....where is there to go? Any wonder they get snarky.

You would think that if there is a God, he would guide those poor lost and wounded souls to the truth, wouldn't you? Yet they can never unite in a positive way....they are just united in their hatred. :( What a pity.

Grudges are all they have left. Where else can they go? Feeding themselves with all that negativity means that the sun doesn't seem to shine much in their world. Pride keeps them from admitting that they have no alternative religion to turn to.....so the disgruntled ones just stand outside the door 'weeping and gnashing their teeth'....sometimes for decades.
What keeps them from moving on? Who knows?

That would be a nice thought, but it is too hard for some to admit that, if you have no brotherhood, you have no Christianity. All must speak in agreement, (1 Corinthians 1:10) so if there is no one who agrees with what they want to believe, then there is only self delusion. No one can be self-taught. Jesus appointed a slave to "feed" his household....we just have to find "him"...and then gain spiritual nourishment and unity from what is served at Jehovah's table. We know what is served at the other table.

Christianity can't be a self feeding brotherhood of one. God does not work that way.

    Peace to you.
