Leaving Jehovah

How is disagreeing with the governing body of Jehovah's Witnesses going to hurt me? @Vee and anyone else who might know.

Does it mean that if they can find me. If they can take some of "Jehovah's money" to pay a private eye that they can finally figure out who the hell I am and then........OMG! A story!

By the happenstance (God knows!) I am not yet disfellowshipped, which, of course, is funny.

What is wrong with me?

It seems to me that the Jehovah's Witnesses are being taught that to leave them is to leave Jehovah.
It is what they say about someone who was a Jehovah's Witness but left.
I left them, but I don't believe that I have left Jehovah.
It seems to me that it is not possible to "leave Jehovah".
Is it?
No

I if any of us who are JW today decides to leave, it is not going to be because of anything you said. .
I hear you saying that Jehovah's Witness will not listen to reasonings.
Can you tell us for what reason Jehovah chooses to save just a very small measure of humanity?

I don't know what happened between you and Jehovah's Witnesses and it's really none of my business, but I don't see how writing post after post against our beliefs can be of any help to you. I mean this in the friendliest way possible: if any of us who are JW today decides to leave, it is not going to be because of anything you said. Each one needs to establish his/her path.
If what you learned with us didn't satisfy you, didn't match your expectations or didn't answer your questions, you are free to look elsewhere. You won't find any closure holding a grudge against us.That's only going to hurt you.
I hope you find what you are looking for and that you can put your negative feelings behind you and have a happy life.
If by any chance in the future something makes you decide to come back, I hope the Witness in your area will apply the Bible teachings and welcome you with open arms.
Take care.
It's more like, a jw idea isn't going to keep anyone out of heaven. It's pretty clear that traditional belief and the scripture are not trying to separate themselves from salvation via the Triune God, or otherwise.
So, the subject becomes, what's the commonality here, because there are many differences.

This sounds interesting, but I'm lost. Can you please elaborate?

I understand the first sentence and I agree. What about the rest of the post? What does it mean?

What is the commonality between jw and other christian belief. What is the commonality between some jw ideas, beliefs, and anything traditional in xianity?

These are the questions, what is jw, before arguing in some sort of "christian religion" context.

They call traditional Christianity "Babylon the Great" destined to be destroyed. Some JWs even fear being in another church because if the day comes and they are there, Jehovah will have them destroyed I think the only thing they have in common with others is the Bible (though they interpret it differently) and the name of Jesus.

Those who loose faith in God and become atheists have left Jehovah. Good to hear your faith in God is strong. The church has sinned in several ways.

Yes, but even an atheist can not leave Jehovah for real. Jehovah* is God over all.

*Not God's real name.

I have given it some thought. I think that calling something good, "bad" is not as wrong as calling something bad, "good".

The Pharisees were warned about calling Jesus bad. The Jehovah's Witnesses are being warned about calling the antichrist good. They are ignoring the warning.

If you call something good bad, a person can see for himself if it is really so.
If you call something bad which is faking being good good it is not possible to know
for sure.

It is more likely that a person can be misled for seeing good in bad than it is for seeing bad in good.

I might like to talk about the possibility of leaving Jehovah.
I think that according to The Bible, it isn't possible.

I have scriptures. :D

1. Who or what is Jehovah in your mind?
2. How did you get to Jehovah in the first place? (You can’t leave what you didn’t originally get to)
3. Why did you leave JW?
4. Who do you personally follow?
5. Now that you ‘left’, have you found something else?

I didn't get to Jehovah. Nobody has.

That is correct. How did I get to the Jehovah's Witnesses. They found me lonely at home and visited me to study the Bible. The Watchtower teaches that a person has to progress their way to be able to attain righteousness.
3. Why did you leave JW?
They are wrong.
4. Who do you personally follow?
Now? I believe in Jesus Christ.
5. Now that you ‘left’, have you found something else?
Yes. Religious Forums. :D

Do they use Jesus or Yeshua? I use Jesus, Esa, and related variations, but basically Jesus.

I don't notice much Jesus emphasis in jw arguments, ultimately. I wouldn't call it a 'Jesus religion'.

That being said, traditionally Jesus is God, regardless.

It seems that important ideas like Hell being a answer to blatant non belief is lost in jw. Seems materialistic in that manner, actually.8
I'm not sure why jw use so much scripture, seems likes a ' works equals salvation' , argument/religion.

Disagree. You are welcome to start a conversation on this to keep unwanted attention from giving their 2 cents input.
I do not know what that sentence means. God's son did not call God "Jehovah". God's actual name is lost or was never found in the first place.
Jehovah is a man-made name. That is a fact.

this יהוה‎ is the only evidence for God's name. I think יהוה‎ does not mean God. It means what God allows.
