Homosexuality according to Judaism
'If a man has sexual relations with a man as one does with a woman, both of them have done what is detestable. They are to be put to death; their blood will be on their own heads. Leviticus 20:13

Same Sex marriage in Christianity
“And He answered and said to them, ‘Have you not read that He who made them at the beginning ‘made them male and female,’“
Matthew 19:4 (NKJV)

“But from the beginning of the creation, God ‘made them male and female.’”
Mark 10:6 (NKJV)

“Do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived. Neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor homosexuals, norsodomites, nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners will inherit the kingdom of God.”
1 Corinthians 6:9-10 (NKJV)

Homosexuality in Islam
We also (sent) Lut: he said to his people: "Do ye commit lewdness such as no people in creation (ever) committed before you? "For ye practice your lusts on men in preference to women: ye are indeed a people transgressing beyond bounds." - Holy Quran 7:80-81

"Of all the creatures in the world will ye approach males". "And leave those whom Allah has created for you to be your mates? Nay ye are a people transgressing (all limits)!" - Holy Quran 26:165-166

Now i wonder why there are homosexual priests when bible is against homosexuality. Is there newer Testament where homosexuality is allowed?
If that is not the case, and christians allow homosexuality doesnt that mean they disagree with God and doesnt that contradict their own belief that the bible is the words of God???
Nope, they are just rational enough to know what was the "word of God" and what was simply an example of how different the world was back then. I mean, even God would have had different motivations for such a different world.

I am a Christian because I believe in Jesus Christ. But, I certainly do not believe that everything in the Bible is divinely inspired. A lot of it seems to be imperfect humans trying to add in their imperfect views about social order.

This is what modern times are like: Let us say you have enough money that you can afford to put both grape jelly and peanut butter onto two slices of bread. That is decadent is it not? It is delicious. By itself peanut butter is a delicacy. Put it with jelly on the bread to make a sandwich. Have a glass of milk with it while sitting in an air-conditioned room. Now eat some doritos, sit down and read a book. That is what modern times are like. They are like a peanut butter and jelly sandwich with milk. People in ancient times could never have tasted food like it. Pharoahs lived and died and never had it this good. Times have changed. There was no peanut butter and jelly sandwich in ancient times. It didn't exist.

Today there are ships that sail beneath the ocean, stronger than any Leviathan of the seas. People talk to each other instantly over vast distances. Paper is cheap and plentiful. Parasites are understood and vanquished and no longer called demons. Hospitals help heal 100,000 times more people than prayers and miracles ever did. If Solomon could see this day he would weep at such enlightenment.

Ancient people did not know the depth of the Earth and its composition, but modern people do. They didn't go into space or know that it was a vacuum. Modern people know this. They didn't know the Sun was actually a nuclear reaction or that sea monsters were not monsters but simply creatures in the ocean. Most people could not read. Most people lived without hope except for what people told them to believe. Those were ancient times.

So? ..... All of those are legalistic, humanly created systems of doctrine. How can you be sure that God endorsed them? Eastern Philosophies that are less legalistic and more intrinsically compassionate would present a different 'word' from god, that doesn't hate gay people.

In Roman Catholic Church priests were supposed to be celibate. Your quote says: "If a man has sexual relations with a man as one does with a woman..." Celibate priests do not have any sex, so there is no sin. Furthermore, Church condemns sin and not the sinner. Sinner is expected to fall many times, just like every single saint did. But never to lose the understanding what the right path is and always to rise and get back on that path. And some people truly repented only at their deathbed, and that was enough for Church to recognize them as righteous. So, it is sin that matters and the understanding that certain actions are sin. This means that basically even if you are a homosexual, but you recognize that your sex life is a sin, you are still welcome in the Church. Because you are no different from the rest of the sinners.

Your understanding of Christianity is rather naive. If you are truly a Muslim, can you give some example of Islamic criticism of Christianity, which shows that Muslims really understood what they were criticizing. In other words: an educated criticism.

There is no "AS WITH A" woman - in that sentence.

And all of the other so-called anti-homosexual verses, are actually condemning Sacred Sex Acts, - NOT homosexuality.

I have posted info on most of these verses, earlier in the thread.

God would be very cruel if he truly made a number of humans homosexual, in order to have them persecuted in life and after death.

Thatd be some cynical, disgusting stuff

Appeal to popularity -- it's a logical fallacy. From Rob't. A. Heinlein, Time Enough for Love: "Does history record any case in which the majority was right?"
