A diet of nothing but tofu & kale leaves theIf we could get rid of meat eaters we would double our winnings.
The OP and graph in post #3 are speaking of farmed shellfish. I'm unaware of any 330,000,000 cubic mile oyster farms.Coz it takes 330,000,000 cubic miles of water to grow a oyster?
Just supporting your post: Why aren't we using ocean water? And since we have water treatment facilities, cases of cholera, dysentery and salmonella are greatly reduced.
In 3rd world countries which still have a life expectancy of 43 years - what we had before water treatment.
It isn't just nice, it's vital.
And that doesn't take into account that we still use more water than is naturally replenished. The results are that ground water levels are reduced which leads to desertification and the need to drill ever deeper.
(A luxury 3rd world countries can't afford. But then, they usually don't have the population density and per capita use we have.)
Good job then that nobody has a diet of nothing but tofu and kale.A diet of nothing but tofu & kale leaves the
diner too weak to pose a threat to us carnivores.

A diet of nothing but bacon and burgers leaves the diner too full of cancers to pose a threat to us vegans. See?
What chemical bondsJust supporting your post: Why aren't we using ocean water?
Cost
- The primary reason we don't see more desalination plants is due to the cost to operate these plants. Salt dissolves easily in water and it requires a lot of energy to break the chemical bonds. Energy consumption hikes up the cost to run a plant and the cost of the technology to desalinate the water also holds a hefty price tag.
I wondered that too. What chemical bonds
It's ok I was only joshing.Until cancer does me in, no effete namby pamby

We're going to free all the animals while you're in meat induced stupor. Then when you can only eat what you can catch we'll all be veggie.A diet of nothing but tofu & kale leaves the

Audry? That's only after they saw this guy in their garden...
I tend to stay away from beef, pork, moose, rabbit, squirrel, elk, deer, etc. because they cause all manner of havoc with my innards.
I eat a lot of fish, chicken, turkey, etc.
I looked into this, it's actually the bottle that degrades not the water. After a while the bottle leaches chemical that can taint the water.
