So we live in this weird time and place now. You can research your own beliefs and come to terms with what is out there. Was 9/11 an inside job? Did we find aliens at roswell? Was Jesus god's son?

Have you researched your truths before arguing them? We have all this technology which connects us to everyone else. Do you care what the rest of the humans think?

I try to. Unfortunately we are not always privy to the required information to establish whether something is the case or not, leaving us to make those conclusions on what we hear from experts and those who are more knowledgeable on any given subject.

I figure there are truths on how you feel and truths and how you perceive things for which I relay.

The best truth is objective truth. There you can't deny or debate such things because it's right there. I tried to go objectively as I can although that's not always going to be possible.

Well said. Although I would question what you mean by objective truth. Feel free to expand. We by definition branch out and specialize in different fields and rely on those experts. Honestly if you need heart surgery you are not coming to my door... I did not specialize in that field and others are better suited.

I talked to my mom today, I have a few kids kicking about. For the present moment I seem quite real. Tomorrow may be a different story. I don't take the future for granted let alone the present.

Depends what you mean by "research," and let me be plain -- social media ain't it. There's more misinformation out there than Trump has lies.

I care what the rest of humans think when they are actually thinking. One of the scariest things in the world is a horde of humans whipped into a frenzy by some charismatic troll, out looking for somebody to lynch. Which they'll feel bad about later, when it's perhaps just one death too late.

    Yes, inside job.

Dont know, but my mom seen a ufo close up.

    Yes.

Yes.....however, the RE in research means KEEP searching. Theres always knew questions.

I care what others believe, but i care more if its true.

It's a strange state that you describe. Humans might be controlled by external stimuli and commit acts they will later regret. I have rarely met another human who has told me they are not a puppet of their environment yet I can't find anything to disagree with you on. Interesting response.

No one has ever challenged me to my beliefs and truths. I'm a natural researcher and most definitely someone who reflects. The importance of reflecting as well is to have conversations with other "humans" rather than a solo flow. If truth is only found in myself, than no. I really dont. However, if I'm learning truth to find it through others, than yes.

Dont know about roswell, though. Watching Independence Day over and over count?

World trade center 7 was not hit by a plain, yet fell within its footprint, controll demolition style like.

Plus, no steel frame skyscrapoer fell into its footprint due to fire alone, accept supposidly at 911.

I also read a peer reviewed paper about nano thermite explosives found in the dust samples found at the site.

Whats your views on the above questions?

I think humans are a very curious species of great ape in that -- even when grown up -- we love to play "let's pretend", and we even so very often convince ourselves that our games of let's pretend are not games, but are actual truths.

Let's pretend the moon landings were hoaxes. Let's pretend jet exhaust are chemtrails. Let's pretend aliens built the pyramids. If you're not so accustomed to the phenomenon of let's pretend that you are unable to look at it with fresh eyes, it is astonishing how self-deluding our species can be -- and even more astonishing how tenaciously we can cling to our delusions.

The difference between a child and an adult is that a child often knows his or her self-delusions are just a game while an adult has mastered the art of let's pretend to such an extent he or she cannot be shaken out of it.

Were as many people just as delusional about mundane, practical matters as they are about moon landing hoaxes and pyramid builders, it would be routine to walk down the street and see people trying to mow their lawns with rose bushes, or water their children to make them grow. Humans are the least sane species of the great apes.

I sometimes think a cause of our seemingly endless games of let's pretend is that so many of us have such dull and boring lives that we desperately try to escape from them into dramatic fantasies. Better to believe in chemtrails than face the fact that somewhere deep down you suspect you don't have a life worth living.

Most likely there are other reasons for so many games of let's pretend, too. But I think escapism is one of the major motivators for the games.

I think I answered those questions in my original post.

Do you think I have not researched these points? Do you think I am expert on explosives? Do you think what we all saw is not explained by the events that caused them?

I have researched 9/11 which expect most americans have. I am not an expert on explosives and get freaked out when I walk by stove and smell gas from the pilot light.

There are experts I rely on to explain the events that transpired though. They are not people who probably share my faith or skin color but they can better answer your questions. (I am not a source of truth on any of these matters)

So there's today's truth. I can see no reason to argue with you about it.

You seem like a wise person. Why do you think people think their lives are not worth living and that might be an unfair wording. Why do you think some people might find their lives not worth living?

In my understanding we are products of dead stars and natural selection could have chosen someone else besides you if your dad or mom got frisky thirty seconds later. You are here now. You don't have to be the richest man on the planet going through a divorce or the guy developing electric cars and sending cars into outer space. Maybe you are the gal that bought a person a bagel and a coffee today who just asked you for one. Maybe you are the one that taught your neice a life changing lesson. The chance any of us are here at all is astronomically improbable and yet there we are behind a keyboard on this forum.

Words are not truth. Ideas are not truth. Experts are in no way truth.

If you need heart surgery, you should perhaps ask for someone other than me to come to your door.

I dont think that. But, im aware theres different views on why it happened, thats why i asked your view.

No, and neither am i. Im just saying i read a peer reviewed paper showing nano thermite was involved.

What caused them in your view?

Seams like some experts disagree with other experts as well.

You had me until you said experts are not truth. I have many experts who are doctors that I rely on. Maybe many is an exaggeration. (Didn't know that word had two g's... Guess I dont use it enough)

In any event my point was there are experts who know how to fix a heart. I don't number among them. I have some ideas... I'm sure lots of people do... I would rather trust someone who learned and trained how to fix hearts and has a track record of doing it. (Although that last point I might not care about if I really needed my heart fixed)
