    That is per week.
Also what is your favourite TV series from the 60',70's and 80's?
(Can be anything from current affairs to cartoons).

My Mum's was the Lucy Show (Lucille Ball) still very watchable on YouTube .Mine was Thunderbird's.

    You need more free time.
    I watch a lot.
    Countless hours per week.
    Except when on the road.
I'll go TVless for a week or so.
BTW, I don't have withdrawal symptoms at all.

In the event I get free time(like right now! because its almost bedtime), I tend to play the Sims instead.

On average, well under an hour a day, on many days nothing since I get continual news feeds in my SOHO.

Not much. I don't watch it for myself but if the children agree to watch something together then I'll sit with them and watch. Agreement doesn't happen often ;-)

The last time i watched TV was probably 9 or 10 years ago.
Once the cable provider stopped showing some of my favourite channels i gave up watching TV.

Yes there are better cable services that probably provide all those channels but they're very expensive.

I have not watched TV for 20 years now.

When I was a kid In the 60s and 70s I enjoyed the usual UK favourites: Dr Who, Thunderbirds, Monty Python etc. I was in Dubai for much of the 80s so didn’t watch much TV. When I got back I used to enjoy Red Dwarf - and cricket test matches in summertime.

I think they're expensive here, too.

At the job I had, I spent the first four years of it on the night shift. It was basically watching over some disabled folks, and cleaning while they were asleep. I was the only person on the shift. There was about 3 hours worth of work on an 8 hour shift. If you fell asleep, you got fired. So I watched a lot of TV then... Cartoon Network(adult swim) and Nick at Night(basically, old shows).

We have public television(its free), but there's only a couple channels that come in. Its not really worth messing with the reception for the few programs we do get.

Nick is one of my favourites. Was a fan of shows like Oggy and the cockroaches and ofcourse there's Spongebob.

Loved watching the show Ancient Aliens and Pawn shop that still probably comes on History channel.

There was a music channel named Vh1.
It played all the 80s 90s classics. This was back in 2007/08. Not sure if this channel is still around.

Then there was a channel called World Movies. They played European, Korean and other foreign movies.

Nowadays, i just download shows/movies from the internet. The pirated copies i mean. :D

I used to mark the programmes I would usually want to watch on a TV guide but these days it is seldom that one or two programmes are checked each day, and apart from the news I might regularly watch, it is more the quiz shows and comedy that I seem to watch, even if the latter has been seen before. But I will watch some of the better drama series or informative programmes and such. I tend to listen to the radio more than watch TV, and this leading to lower electricity bills.

This. Actual TV is just the weather, after I mute all the murder and mayhem. 'If it bleeds it leads'
I used to re-watch Sci fi on Netflix but now getting rid of Netflix as it's bad now. YouTube mostly.
