Harris wins Photo op. Sits at same spot that Rosa parks and G4 while cameras snap away .

Our European visitors are important to us.
This site is currently unavailable to visitors from the European Economic Area while we work to ensure your data is protected in accordance with applicable EU laws.

In other words **** off, we can't be bothered setting up the security measures demanded in europe. Its much easier to exploit and sell our american vistors information.

You didn't miss anything other than another sad attempt at making a mountain out of a mole hill.

I've noticed this is common when it's a local TV station site. For whatever reason, owners of local TV stations don't want Europeans to view their content. Maybe they're ashamed. Who knows?

Intrigued, I googled WNCT from here in London. West Norfolk Community Transport was the only result. Sounds harmless enough.

No doubt. To be recorded in the annals of history forever for her courage and ability to steer society under her own will and gut determination.

    Undoubtedly she's unrivaled now.

No. It's a mole hill making a sad attempt to be a mountain.

Politicians often use their notoriety to draw attention to the heroic deeds of others. Presidents laying a wreath at a monument to fallen soldiers, or perhaps walking across the bridge into Selma on the anniversary of the march on Selma. It's a common way of honoring the sacrifices that our fellow Americans made on our behalf, in years past. Even if the politician is grandstanding, as many probably are, the honor they bestow is still well deserved, and still deserves our respect.

On the bright side, she didn't use a mobilized police force (or was it the National Guard? I can't remember) to clear a church courtyard for a photo op with an upside-down Bible.

Kamala Harris, Shield Maiden and consort of Woden Thorson, proves her worth by owning the cons once again.

I don't disagree and well said. Yet it still comes across as a violation of the sacrosanct by which history is made.

It raises the question as to why she had to sit in the place of Rosa Parks for a photo op where she could just as much honored Rosa and the G4 by just standing by and acknowledged a spot of history without violating a space reserved for a person who made those changes.

It comes across Harris essentially pushed Rosa parks aside, so she can bask in a photo op of self glory in her place rather than respectfully leaving that space alone as an untarnished memorial.

Unless of course others have sat there prior to Harris.

This is such a pointless discussion to have. Obama sat on the bus as a tip of the cap of the journey from segregation to the Oval Office. The same thing is happening here, it is not a transgression. It's fine.

I don't see how. I don't see it as being any different from the many other homages politicians pay to important figures from our history.
I think you're grasping at straw. Is no one ever supposed to stand where Martin Luther King stood on the steps of the Lincoln Momorial, now? Because no one else is 'worthy'? That's just silly.
Only to those who are looking really hard for some nit to pick.
I'm sure thousands have sat there prior to Harris. Just as thousands have stood on the steps of the Lincoln Memorial, and walked across that bridge to Selma.

Nice when censorship is the norm. That's why I'm against all forms, public or private.

Nothing to do with censorship. Europeans have finicky laws about site security, it seems, and the site for a local news station in the US doesn't pass muster. Boo hoo. People need to lay off.
