Gender changes

@Maximilian You've made like 40 posts or so in this thread I figure, and I don't think a single one was really funny or informative, they just point to random link-dumping to try to assert transphobia. I don't see how gender change can make too many people worse, who don't have or end up with strong religious convictions.

And Gender Dyshporia is a serious mental health issue which diminishes the quality of life of its sufferers, as study after study after study confirms.

Do you even know what MDD is, or are you just throwing out terms you learned? Because even untreated its not always lethal (and health professionals in general do not treat or approach it as terminal) but there is a high risk of suicide

Is that your medical opinion?

It actually does, to the point of stating that even those who are bullies are at a greater risk of suicide.

Which is very different from saying "The effect of bullying is suicide" which is what you seem to be claiming.

It's not "demonstrably false", it's "not yet proven". They're different.

But you have goal post shifted from "bullying doesn't cause suicide" to accepting it as a "proximal cause". I'll take it. Just don't backpedal.

I'd love to see your data that shows there is a "rise in physical, mental and/or sexual abuse incidents ", as opposed to an increase in reporting. I firmly believe that such things were far more common until quite recently when people simply didn't talk about it.

Were far more common until quite recently? How so?

Yea, it is written in the Book of Cyril...
And the effect of bullying is not suicide. Just like the effect of rape, for instance, is not obesity.
What a ridiculous comparison. You clearly have no interest in a good faith discussion, or are incapable of having one. Either way, I tried, but I'm really not interested in playing "convince the willfully obtuse troll of basic undisputed facts". Maybe you can find someone else willing to debate the wetness of water with you, but it's not me. HANL, TGIF.

There are two types of medical intervention, those that treat the cause, and those that treat the symptoms. GRT treats the symptoms. Until or unless a treatment of the "cause" is made available, treating the symptoms is a valid medical treatment.

And out of reach to the vast majority thanks to its exorbitant cost. Mental health care, as a result, is significantly more convenient for these battling with Gender Dysphoria.

The effect of evaluating medical research is bigotry? Really?

I mean, I'm usually pretty tolerant I think. You saw that I let one argument go on in my thread, and stood up for the people making innocent jokes about the subject, so I hoped for some form of peace at that point. But you really took the subject over the top with what I'm going to call religion-funded misinformation, because it likely is. I didn't get any closure on a thread which mattered to me, it ended non-peacefully due to what amounts to this:

And sure I realized I would get some negative comments. But dude, this isn't the debate board.

Have you considered seeking qualified mental health care?

I'll worry about my own problems. I don't wish to discuss whether I need a psychiatrist as a result of you baiting with mass insensitive proselytizing cerebrum genocide in my thread. I'd also stop telling people they have ADD if I were you too.
