If you are alive on Earth at the soon coming ' time of separation ' of Matthew 25:31-33,37 then you can find yourself still alive on Earth. Alive on Earth as one of those figurative upright humble 'sheep'-like people who will be part of the humble meek who will inherit the Earth because it's the world of badness that will end, but Not the Earth.

Dream on. There is no saviour coming to right all wrongs. We are on our own, always were, always will be. That's what brains are for, problem solving, not waiting for sky daddy to bail us out.

Signs of the End Times: Matthew 24:

3 As Jesus was sitting on the Mount of Olives, the disciples came to him privately. “Tell us,” they said, “when will this happen, and what will be the sign of your coming and of the end of the age?”
4 Jesus answered: “Watch out that no one deceives you. 5 For many will come in my name, claiming, ‘I am the Messiah,’ and will deceive many.
    ...
36 “But about that day or hour no one knows, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father. 37 As it was in the days of Noah, so it will be at the coming of the Son of Man. 38 For in the days before the flood, people were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, up to the day Noah entered the ark; 39 and they knew nothing about what would happen until the flood came and took them all away. That is how it will be at the coming of the Son of Man.

Jesus warned about those who make claims to knowledge of the end of times. Yet no one, not even Jesus, knows when the end shall come. How do you claim to know that which Jesus said could not be known?

Atomic bombs couldn't have been made 100 years ago. 100 years ago people didn't know what E=MC^2 means. Energy equals mass times the speed of light squared, an equation for how much energy can be released from atoms. Hydrogen atoms split the easiest so that's what they used to make the first atomic bomb.

Yeah, all of your comments ooze common sense. Most of what you have said is simply ungrounded speculation which quite literally gets one nowhere that is worth while. If your truly Christian, it says in revelation that no man will know the day of the end. So, I would spend more time in faith and prayer and being a good person, than consistently speculating things that literally can't be found anywhere in Christian philosophy or have to be projected into it.

But Rick, god knew... and god told them.

But they conveniently didn't tell anyone else because, you know, science.

Fortunately the end of the age was 1844. Elijah came first and the 'Glory of God' did enter by the way of the 'Gate' facing east.

No need to wait 2023. Gods Kingdom on earth, as it is in Heaven is under construction, the foundations have been laid.

Be well be happy and regards Tony

Why wouldn't God just use an asteroid which have been around for billions of years? They are considerably more effective in wiping out nearly all life on earth with just a single one! Was God hoping to do this in more inefficient ways to wipe us out, in his love, by showing us how to make A-Bombs? Or maybe he could just explode the Yellowstone supervolcano to show his love to us? I'm not quite sure how any of this really makes any sense. Did God reveal this to you somehow?

Because we didn't know about nuclear fission 100 years ago?

It does Not make sense to me because God's purpose, His will, is Never to wipe out nearly all life on Earth.
I would say " Fret not.... " Psalms 37, because God created Earth to be inhabited Not destroyed - Isaiah 45:18.
As in Noah's day what will be ' wiped out ' will be wicked people, Not Earth. Wicked destroyed forever according to Psalms 92:7. The words from Jesus' mouth will Not destroy Earth, but will execute the wicked - Isaiah 11:3-4; Revelation 19:14-16. Then, Jesus, as Prince of Peace, will usher in global Peace on Earth among persons of goodwill. They will be part of the humble meek people who will inherit the Earth as Jesus promised at Matthew 5:5.

    Yikes! So much misinformation here.

    1. The equation E=mc^2 was published in 1905, which was 112 years ago. So it was definitely known. By 100 years ago, it was also verified in atomic decays.

    2. Hydrogen atoms do not split (fission). They have the *smallest* nuclei. They are, however, used for nuclear *fusion* where atoms are induced to coalesce.

    3. The first atoms to be split were Uranium. Uranium atoms have very large nuclei.

    4. The first atomic bomb used Plutonium. The second used Uranium. The third used Plutonium.

    5. In fact, hydrogen is very difficult to *fuse*. To make a Hydrogen (fusion) bomb requires an atomic (fission) bomb as a trigger. But the yield is much larger.

When I think of 100 years ago I think of the 1800's, excuse me for being stuck in the 90's. I'm young, but I'm stuck in my old ways. I thought I read some place that Hydrogen has the simplest atomic structure so Hydrogen atoms were easiest to split. I get confused sometimes. I did some research and it turns out your right. Thanx. I think the point I was trying to make is that the technology to make atom bombs is relatively new, and that the reason people didn't have it a long time ago is not because of anything to do with God or the coming apocalypse. It's because people hadn't discovered that yet. I don't think God or anything otherworldly determines human knowledge. I also don't think it makes sense that anything could foresee what people would do with their free will.

Can humanity survive the apocalypse? If yes then is it possible revelations already happened?

Well, the most relevant discovery for nuclear weapons wasn't E=mc^2, but the discovery that nuclear fission could happen and that it could lead to a chain reaction. That discovery happened in 1938 and explained as such in 1939.

It should be pointed out that nuclear weapons actually existed within 7 years of the discovery of fission. Producing a bomb once the basic [hysics was discovered was mostly a matter of will (get the bomb before Hitler) and money. Note that the original reason for building it (Hitler) was gone before it was actually built.

Yes. Time does keep passing. When I was young, computers were huge machines in large rooms with a LOT of air conditioning. That was over 40 years ago now.

Just keep updating your idea of 'now'.

Oh come on. God invented the Internet through us. It was His plan all along that I would be typing this to you tonight, foreseen by the Almighty since before time began.
