Does Hamas call for destruction of Israel ?

Lately, quite a few of the extremist Jewish members of the forum (and some not so extremist) have been claiming that Hamas wants total destruction of Israel ... and had been trying to defend Israel's shameless massacre of the Palestinian civilians...so here's a refutation of such claim.

You'd be surprised to find out the truth otherwise ...

Game-changing US/Israel lies: Hamas and Iran demand Palestinian justice, not to ‘destroy Israel’

On the contrary, look at the number of Israelis (including religious and political leaders) who call for the destruction of Palestine and genocide of Palestinians.

For example, Dov Lior, a racist Israeli rabbi from the West Bank settlement Kiryat Arba, recently posted a Halakhic ruling allowing to kill innocent civilians, after being asked about the “war” (it’s a massacre) in Gaza. "In the case of Gaza, the Minister of Defense will be allowed to instruct even the destruction of Gaza so that the south will no longer suffer and to avoid harm to our people who have been suffering for so long from the surrounding enemies.”

Any kind of talk about humanism and consideration are moot when speaking of saving our brothers in the south and in the rest of the country and bringing back quiet to our country.” From : Israeli rabbi: It

Not to mention, the history of Zionism during the creation of the state of Israel...some excerpts from Ben Gurions letter ...
"Ben-Gurion himself, writing to his son in 1937, appeared convinced that this was the only course of action open to Zionism: “The Arabs will have to go,” but one needs an opportune moment for making it happen, such as a war."

"My assumption . . . is that a Jewish state on only part of the land is not the end but the beginning. . . ."

"We must expel Arabs and take their place."

THE COVENANT OF THE HAMAS - MAIN POINTS

=======================================

The Covenant of the Islamic Resistance Movement was issued on August

18, 1988. The Islamic Resistance Movement, also known as the HAMAS,

is an extremist fundamentalist Islamic organization operating in the

territories under Israeli control. Its Covenant is a comprehensive

manifesto comprised of 36 separate articles, all of which promote the

basic HAMAS goal of destroying the State of Israel through Jihad

(Islamic Holy War). The following are excerpts of the HAMAS

Covenant:

Goals of the HAMAS:

------------------

'The Islamic Resistance Movement is a distinguished Palestinian

movement, whose allegiance is to Allah, and whose way of life is

Islam. It strives to raise the banner of Allah over every inch of

Palestine.' (Article 6)

On the Destruction of Israel:

-----------------------------

'Israel will exist and will continue to exist until Islam will

obliterate it, just as it obliterated others before it.' (Preamble)

The Exclusive Moslem Nature of the Area:

----------------------------------------

'The land of Palestine is an Islamic Waqf [Holy Possession]

consecrated for future Moslem generations until Judgment Day. No one

can renounce it or any part, or abandon it or any part of it.'

(Article 11)

'Palestine is an Islamic land... Since this is the case, the

Liberation of Palestine is an individual duty for every Moslem

wherever he may be.' (Article 13)

The Call to Jihad:

------------------

'The day the enemies usurp part of Moslem land, Jihad becomes the

individual duty of every Moslem. In the face of the Jews' usurpation,

it is compulsory that the banner of Jihad be raised.' (Article 15)

'Ranks will close, fighters joining other fighters, and masses

everywhere in the Islamic world will come forward in response to the

call of duty, loudly proclaiming: 'Hail to Jihad!'. This cry will

reach the heavens and will go on being resounded until liberation is

achieved, the invaders vanquished and Allah's victory comes about.'

(Article 33)

Rejection of a Negotiated Peace Settlement:

-------------------------------------------

'[Peace] initiatives, and so-called peaceful solutions and

international conferences are in contradiction to the principles of

the Islamic Resistance Movement... Those conferences are no more than

a means to appoint the infidels as arbitrators in the lands of

Islam... There is no solution for the Palestinian problem except by

Jihad. Initiatives, proposals and international conferences are but a

waste of time, an exercise in futility.' (Article 13)

Hamas has called for the destruction of Israel and Hamas needs to stop that. What Hamas needs to do is ensure the safety and peace of the Palestinian people and I really don't think Hamas is working in the best interest of the Palestinian people. We all have to be honest here.

A lot of half-truths and a few legitimate extremist positions that don't reflect the main streams of either Israeli or Jewish societies-- any more than the scum of terrorism in Hamas or Islamic Jihad or Hizballah or ISIS or al-Qaeda represent the main streams of Islam.

Hamas' number one goal is the elimination of Israel. They don't bother to deny it. No sense in you trying to hide it.

And I had to laugh-- while there might be a few Jews on this forum who are a little too far to the right or a little too far to the left, there are no genuine extremist Jews here. And if you think there are, all the better, since that means the real extremist voices aren't making it very far into the world. But saying so just makes you seem all the more radicalized and ignorant of genuine Jewish and Israeli discourses.

The peace and safety of the Palestinian people should be paramount to any Palestinian leadership and in regards to those issues Hamas has proven itself detrimental to ensuring that. So unless I see they are changing their ways, I am not buying it.

The retarded part is that the Palestinians KNEW that the Hamas was a fanatical terrorist group when they elected them. It's sort of like electing your local chapter of Hell's Angels to run the police force and then wondering why violent crime is up.

My purpose of this post was not to state that Hamas is innocent and does not do anything wrong but rather to show that people pick only propaganda items to use Hamas as Boogeyman where as the occupation is strangling Gazans at least 3 decades before Hamas was ever there. In addition, there are many many Israelis who calls for all out destruction of Palestine which is not reported at all. One more example of such barbaric people ...

Israelis in Tel Aviv, on 26.7.2014, the 19th day of Israel's massacres in Gaza, cheer the genocide on: "There's no school tomorrow, there's no children left there [in Gaza]! Oleh!"

Can we have it in Arabic the original language because we all know how things can be changed in translation.

By the way the word Muslim that is in this above means Muslim. The peoples of the books. The Abrahamic 3 religions.

Palestine is for the peoples of the books. It's very clear.

I agree ,Hamas need to change that goel ,BUT how about Israel (racist) ?
I don't justify to Hamas .but ok let be to honest ALL here more .

as i know Israel created before Hamas , so the abuse and racism of Israel created before the extremism of Hamas ?

So the extremism is the consequence of racism and abuse of Israeli regime .

How Israel Helped to Spawn Hamas

"Hamas, to my great regret, is Israel's creation," says Mr. Cohen, a Tunisian-born Jew who worked in Gaza for more than two decades.

Instead of trying to curb Gaza's Islamists from the outset, says Mr. Cohen, Israel for years tolerated and, in some cases, encouraged them as a counterweight to the secular nationalists of the Palestine Liberation Organization and its dominant faction, Yasser Arafat's Fatah. Israel cooperated with a crippled, half-blind cleric named Sheikh Ahmed Yassin, even as he was laying the foundations for what would become Hamas.

If Israel keeps on its current track I fear that Israel is sowing the seeds of its own downfall.

To be clear - I support the right of Israeli people to live in peace in Israel.

Israel has no choice to do what it's doing. Shimon Peres, long a man of peace, has stated that Israel "has no choice" to respond the way it has.

BTW, the head of the Hamas' military just was reported on CNN to say that for Hamas it's "all or no.thing"-- iow, it's either victory or defeat, no compromise or cease-fire.
