Were they twins and did one represent the positive and the other negative? or dark and light?
were they born of adam or the Lord?
According to The Urantia Book they were half brothers. Very interesting read no matter how you feel about the content.
So cain was from the serpent and abel was from adam?
you said they were half brothers. they either had different fathers or different mothers? save me the scoop on the poop, please?Hell, no. You need to read at least this part of the book to get a whole new perspective on the entire situation. It tends to make more sense than anything you've ever come across before.
per the urantia book.Hell, no. You need to read at least this part of the book to get a whole new perspective on the entire situation. It tends to make more sense than anything you've ever come across before.
per the urantia book.
evidently cain had a father that was not adam. adam came from the land of the first eden which was taken over by the nodites.
the 2nd eden is where abel was born to adam and eve. evidently the spiritual system was of some nodite construction
so either the book of urantia is wrong or the hebrew torah is wrong.
the urantia book says the 1st eden you couldn't travel west of it because of an expanse of water and they had no boats. so the edenites went further easterward between the tigris and euphrates river. or Hiddikel or Chidekel (the Tigris), and Phirat (the Euphrates)
the torah says that Cain went out from the presence of the Lord, and dwelt in the land of Nod, on the east of Eden. the urantia books states that the nodites lived north of eden and eventually west of the new eden.
And shepherd vs farmer. Cain is punished for cooking veggies but there isn't a place where it said veggies wasn't allowed.I tend to believe it's more of an allegory that shows the conflict between good and evil and the consequences of the latter.
well gee...that was a little thin.....And shepherd vs farmer. Cain is punished for cooking veggies but there isn't a place where it said veggies wasn't allowed.
Also, we learn that if you're the first ever murderer, you get a nice family and a town to found. The good guy is still dead, though.
the serpent isn't lucifer. the serpent is a prophet - soothsayer. the gods of eden wanted to keep mankind ignorant, in the dark. ignorance of the law isn't an excuse for the law.Exactly. But it's way more involved than that. It's has to do with Eve's infidelity and the true explanation for the fall of Lucifer. Can't do the story justice on the forum, it really needs to be read .

Dan(=Judge) shall be a serpent H5175 by the way, an adder in the path, that biteth the horse heels, so that his rider shall fall backward.
Had you studied throughout the bible, you would haved found, that God gave to Lucifer many alias names to Represent Lucifer.
Such as
Satan
The Serpent
The wicked one
The fallen one
The Rebellious one
The Devil
The Evil one
And Death
The lawless one
The false prophet
The Antichrist
The son of perdition
The son of destruction
The man of sin
The father of lies
The disobedient one
If you had read Isaiah 14:12 ( How are you fallen from heaven O Lucifer)
Seeing Lucifer fallen from heaven.
And Christ Jesus said in Luke 10:18---"And he said unto them, I beheld Satan as lightning fall from heaven"
Now isn't that amazing, here in
Isaiah 14:12 Lucifer fallen from heaven.
And Christ Jesus saying Satan fall from heaven in Luke 10:18.
Looks like Lucifer and Satan being one and the same, fallen from heaven.
Satan is just Alias name for Lucifer.
the bible doesn't say the serpent was wicked. it says it was the wisest of all god's creatures. jacob was subtil too and became the patriarch of israel.
the serpent was made to go upon it's belly, or its instinct, and to eat the dust. strangely enough the man was too.
Gen 3:17 And unto Adam he said, Because thou hast hearkened unto the voice of thy wife, and hast eaten of the tree, of which I commanded thee, saying, Thou shalt not eat of it: cursed is the ground for thy sake; in sorrow shalt thou eat of it all the days of thy life;
Gen 3:14 And the Lord God said unto the serpent, Because thou hast done this, thou art cursed above all cattle, and above every beast of the field; upon thy belly shalt thou go, and dust shalt thou eat all the days of thy life:
Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law by becoming a curse for us, for it is written: "Cursed is everyone who is hung on a pole."
He humbled you, causing you to hunger and then feeding you with manna, which neither you nor your ancestors had known, to teach you that man does not live on bread alone but on every word that comes from the mouth of the LORD.
i'm not. most folks do not like to be reproved. only the wise know that they will learn something from it.Why are you skipping over Genesis 3:15. Which explicitly God saying there will be enmity between the woman's seed and the serpent seed.
both cain and abel came from eve. you're obviously blinded by "your" hatredSeeing Eve only had two sons, one being her seed and the other being the serpent seed.

Proverbs 9:8
Reprove not a scorner, lest he hate thee: rebuke a wise man, and he will love thee.
Revelation 3:19
As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten: be zealous therefore, and repent.
