Beans on Toast

Secret Chief

nirvana is samsara
I'll try anything at least once, even the weirdest dish
Me too. Recently tried tempeh for the first time and now it's an essential in my favourite house special. :)

What's the lowdown on those?

It's a dessert. The first time I tried red bean, it was strange, but the more I tried it, the more it grew on me. Every time I go to the Asian store I pick up some mooncakes too. Mee sum bakery in Seattle has the best mooncakes and pork rolls if you find yourself in pikes place

I've had this thing sitting in my cupboard for months:

And today was finally the day.

Beans.
On.
Toast.

My life is complete now.
I've had a few different things on toast, but never beans. I'm just curious enough to consider it. Not that difficult sure. I like toast and I like beans.

Beans make toast soggy
Toast should never be soggy
Beans ruin everything
You do have a point, but I do like my toast a little pliable. Not soggy though.

I've had chili, eggs, BLT, even spaghetti on toast and it seems to work out.

I'm trying to think of other things I have had on toast, besides, butter, jam and jelly. Which I've also had and probably had the most often.
