jeez jensa, why dont you get off your butt and do it yourself? lolJensa said:That's what I'm saying. Please provide verses from the Quran that state they accept the Bible as the word of God.
Your Qu'ran mentions this event in Sura 33:25-27
Jensa read my posts if you are going to attempt to criticize them.Volume 7, Book 62, Number 64
No, they do not accept Jesus as being God. They say Jesus will come back to judge the quick and the dead on Judgement Day.Malus 12:9 said:No, they don't.
Because I'm not the one making unsubstantiated claims? I don't expect you to back up my claims.Fat Kat Matt said:jeez jensa, why dont you get off your butt and do it yourself? lol
From what I can tell in your posts, those verses refer to Mohammed... not God. Unless you mean that God killed those people, which wouldn't surprise me, as many Abrahamic religions seem to have a God that's kill-happy.Malus said:Jensa read my posts if you are going to attempt to criticize them.
No, you are making no claims. Odd how you are trying to defend a religion which detests lesbianiism.Because I'm not the one making unsubstantiated claims?
The Qur'an says that Jesus is an Apostle of God, a Messenger and Warner, and the Gospels (Injeel) are part of the "BOOK" of God's word. Muhammed says He is also an Apostle of God, a Messenger and Warner, as was Moses, Abraham, Noah, Salih, Hud and Jesus.Jensa said:Can you provide verses for each of these qualities? I'm especially interested in a source for this one: Since if Muslims (you need to get your nouns right, by the way... Islam is the religion, Muslims are followers of Islam) said the Bible was the true word of God, then they'd also accept that Jesus was God or at least divine and supposed to be worshipped.
You were saying that people are denied the right to pray to God simply because they speak Arabic. That is curmudgeonly in my book.Malus 12:9 said:Where was I being so?
No, I did not, please quote that statement. You were saying that people are denied the right to pray to God simply because they speak Arabic.
couln't agree more.Zephyr said:Al Qaeda are just a bunch of ******** twisting Islam to use it as a tool for political gain.
Yea, you're right. I'm not making claims. I'm asking for you to back up yours. Which you still haven't done.Malus 12:9 said:No, you are making no claims. Odd how you are trying to defend a religion which detests lesbianiism.
Read post: #24. My claims are records from Quaran. Go play elsewhere, instead of trying to act all smart. Keep your personal disagreements with me away from this debate.I'm asking for you to back up yours. Which you still haven't done..
And the Bible talks about witches and has cultural influence, too.Pre-Islamic Arabia's religion was one of superstition. Belief in jinns (genies), curse casting, magic stones, totems was the norm - and it was against this background that Allah arose. Evidence of these very sorts of cultural influence is found in such places as Suras 55, 72, 113 and 114.
Again- some of Christianity is based on older religions and myths- but I don´t see you going on a crusade against them. And that Moon God thing is a bunch of bull."Allah" is from the compound Arabic word "al-ilah" or in english "the god." This word has been found in pre-islamic writings and other archeological finds. At the Kabah in Mecca 360 gods were worshipped, but it was built especially for the chief deity - the moon god. Allah was the personal title of the moon god. Allah was married to the sun goddess. They produced three daughters, whose worship Muhammad would later make the mistake of condoning. The crescent moon symbol of Arabia came from this god.
Except that, he did teach the God of the Bible- have you ever noticed how much alike the Bible and Quran are? Now, because the Quran accepts the Bible as the word of God, it is quite proper that it should adhere to its teachings. The Bible clearly states that prophets must follow the same God as the One revealed by the earliest prophets and not lead people to other, false, gods (Deuteronomy 13:1-5)**. Therefore, we must take very seriously the fact that Muhammad did not teach the God of the Bible.
http://www.religioustolerance.org/worldrel.htmI'm being calm, perhaps you could too. Please show me these statistics where 33% of the population are Islam.
