I find belief will only carry you so far.

So will private debates, and there are a lot of military ranks between general and private.General Religious Debates will do that. ;0]
Maybe God is imaginary, but if we are also imaginary, then God might be real to us?What some mystic "states" and what is real are apt to be quite different.
Its pretty much like Joe saying he believes blue is the prettiest color but John says BS, red is the prettiest color.
Isn't it up to the individual?
Reality is overrated?Well, "real" is like God, it has no objective referent. You can't see God or real. They are both mystic "states" in the mind and only works for those, who believe in them. I don't believe in either.
True tho a bit otMaybe God is imaginary, but if we are also imaginary, then God might be real to us?
Then a more accurate claim would have been, there is but one belief you think it is true. Since truth and belief are not necessarily the same thing. We as Christians believe Jesus is truth.
Only if that God wanted to be known to everyone. If God does not want to be known to everyone, God will not be known to everyone, only to those He chooses to be known to. God is known to some of us.
It's pretty straightforward. God does not exist in the material world so God cannot be seen in the material world.
God exists in the spiritual world, which is the real world. This material world is just a shadow stretching out.
Reality is overrated?
My starting point as I said is Advaita Vedanta, Theosophy, Spiritualism and kindred things.Okay, lets discuss religion and spiritual topics.
This sounds like truth does not exist. Of course it matters if one is true and the other isn't.Its pretty much like Joe saying he believes blue is the prettiest color but John says BS, red is the prettiest color.
Isn't it up to the individual?
No, I do not believe that psychics can communicate with God and I do not believe those were psychic predictions of Revelation. You don't believe that psychics can communicate with God? Then what about the psychic predictions of Revelation?
The trace on a road indicates that some one has beaten that road. Joe Bob is rightJoe Bob believes in a god, goes to church regularly, says his prayers, lives his own life as if heaven and hell exist and wants to go to heaven.
Jim Bob doesn't believe in a god, doesn't go to church, takes life day by day, and lives his own life as when I die its all over because there is no heaven or hell.
Who's right? Do we even know?
Why does either of them living their own life bother anyone?
