● "Are you tired of all the evil associated with the philosophy of atheism—Stalin, Hitler, Pol Pot, and so on?

● Do you feel conflicted about the fact that atheism has no basis in morality (i.e., no absolute right and wrong; no good, no bad?)

● Are you tired of the fact that atheism (which is based in materialism, a popular worldview today) has no basis for logic and reasoning?

● Do you feel like you need a weekend to recoup, even though a weekend is really meaningless in an atheistic worldview—since animals, like bees, don’t take a day of rest or have a weekend? So why should atheists?

● Do you feel conflicted about proselytizing the faith of atheism, since if atheism were true then who cares about proselytizing?

● Are you weary of looking for evidence that contradicts the Bible’s account of creation and finding none?
For professing atheists, these questions can be overwhelming to make sense of within their worldview. And further, within an atheistic worldview, atheists must view themselves as God.

Will you repent and receive Christ as your Lord and Savior today so that you will join Christ in the resurrection from the dead; I invite you personally to become an ex-atheist, join the ranks of the saved through Jesus Christ, and become a new creation as we continue to advance with the gospel in peace that only God can provide."

The line starts at the far right.

In any case, one can only stand in awe at these silly straw-men. But maybe I've missed something here, so anyone who feels these are reasonable challenges please step forward and 'splain.

BTW, here's the author of the above, mechanical engineer cum atheist saviour Bodie Hodge. (I'm always curious as to what these people look like)

I think the fact that the person who authored that article is a mechanical engineer shows that intelligence isn't necessarily related to how logical one's deeply held beliefs are.

Aside from that, his questions are full of unfounded assumptions and propaganda. I think he would at least be taken seriously by more people if it weren't for all the misinformation contained in that article.

I find this especially amusing, though:

Do you feel like you need a weekend to recoup, even though a weekend is really meaningless in an atheistic worldview—since animals, like bees, don’t take a day of rest or have a weekend? So why should atheists?

Going by his logic of what an "atheistic worldview" entails, I think he should stop reproducing because he is not "an animal," and animals reproduce.

Nah....none of those things bother me in the least.

Of all that was written this is the only thing I question, by definition Atheists can not see them selves as God, but rather see themselves as humans with no higher power to answer too.

Though I do not agree with this view, I can respect the fact that they feel as they do, without being offended by it. I am not God there for I can not judge.

Evil? What's that? Personally, Stalin is my hero.
● Do you feel conflicted about the fact that atheism has no basis in morality (i.e., no absolute right and wrong; no good, no bad?)

Absolutely not. Its a well known fact that atheists like to eat unborn fetuses on the full moon.
● Are you tired of the fact that atheism (which is based in materialism, a popular worldview today) has no basis for logic and reasoning?

Not at all. Not many people realize this, but the TV show "Hoarders" is actually about atheists.

● Do you feel like you need a weekend to recoup, even though a weekend is really meaningless in an atheistic worldview—since animals, like bees, don’t take a day of rest or have a weekend? So why should atheists?

You know, sometimes I DO feel like I need a weekend to recoup. But I don't know what a weekend is, since I am an atheist. But wait a minute! I see through you! You are going to lull me into a false sense of relaxation on a weekend when you really want me to attend Church! (not relaxing at all, btw, what with all the power-sermons and what not)

● Do you feel conflicted about proselytizing the faith of atheism, since if atheism were true then who cares about proselytizing?

Ah! An acute observer, you! You are right, I don't care about proselytizing the faith of atheism.

● Are you weary of looking for evidence that contradicts the Bible’s account of creation and finding none?

Yeah, that is just wearisome. It would be like verifying each and every line of The Little Red Riding Hood. (We obviously know the wolf did eat the grandma and obviously disguised himself as a human. That's just obvious)

For professing atheists, these questions can be overwhelming to make sense of within their worldview. And further, within an atheistic worldview, atheists must view themselves as God.

Yeah, I do view myself as God. But hey, I'm god and nothing overwhelms ME!

Whoa whoa whoa mister! Thou shalt have no false gods before me, arite?

It seems that Bodie is Ken Ham's son-in-law, and while intelligent enough to get his Master in Mechanical Engineering, he is apparently ignorant of history, archaeology, anthropology, moral philosophy, and, most apparently, atheism.

For instance, Hitler was a theist, not an atheist. However, philanthropists Bill Gates, Warren Buffett and Andrew Carnegie, inverter Thomas Edison, and patriot Susan B.Anthony are and were Atheists.
Most Atheists follow Humanitarian ethics based on what is good for mankind as a whole, And atheistic Buddhists have very strong moral ethics.

The weekend thing? Really? The history of the five day workweek rests more on the Unions than anything else. (But aren't Unions socialist!?!?!?!)

As for contradictions to Biblical history, one has only to have a basic understanding of geology and archeology to dismiss that claim.

It seems that Ham's nepotistic son-in-law is directing this more at AiG's rabid followers than at actual Atheists.

WOW! You don't seem to understand what a straw-man is.

"The Straw Man fallacy is committed when a person simply ignores a person's actual position and substitutes a distorted, exaggerated or misrepresented version..."

I get a kick out of this one.

Are you weary of looking for evidence that contradicts the Bible’s account of creation and finding none?

Are you Christians weary of looking for evidence that contradicts science's account of creation and finding none?

"Are you tired of all the evil associated with the philosophy of atheism—Stalin, Hitler, Pol Pot, and so on?

I have grown tired of hearing that the reason they ordered the extermination of people was just cause they lacked a belief in God, when people with belief in God or gods equally kill for their ideals.

● Do you feel conflicted about the fact that atheism has no basis in morality (i.e., no absolute right and wrong; no good, no bad?)

Atheist only describes one thing, and that is a lack of belief in gods, nothing more, whatever ideologies an Atheist has is independent of their lack of belief, of course, whatever they do will obviously not be in the name of god, nor in the name of I don't believe in god/atheist

● Are you tired of the fact that atheism (which is based in materialism, a popular worldview today) has no basis for logic and reasoning?

We all posses the ability to understand logic and reason, but to believe in a god or gods you have to suspend all logic and reason on that one issue. In anything else unrelated to the supernatural we all pretty much agree.

● Do you feel like you need a weekend to recoup, even though a weekend is really meaningless in an atheistic worldview—since animals, like bees, don’t take a day of rest or have a weekend? So why should atheists?

Cause it's nice to have a day off from work or school? Better than to sit for hours listening to some dude blabbering about some story written down on a scientifically illiterate book.

● Do you feel conflicted about proselytizing the faith of atheism, since if atheism were true then who cares about proselytizing?

I don't do that, nor I know any other Atheist that does that, it's impossible to convince a believer that what they believe might be bull, but look at it this way, if there are people among believers who can't swallow the god pill no matter how hard they try, a friendly neighborhood Atheist might help them find the answers, rather than another religious person who will truly preach things they have no way to demonstrate are true in any other way than to tell you that you need faith.

● Are you weary of looking for evidence that contradicts the Bible’s account of creation and finding none?

The bible does a nice job on contradicting itself and reality, so it requires almost no effort to disprove it. Even still, countless times debunked, people continue to believe in it, so I'd say it's a waste of time to even try IMO

It's funny how easy it is to answer stupid questions, but I just had to.

If his heart was in the 'right' place he would have done some research on Atheism. That was just pure bigotry, and I don't see how anyone- religious or not- can take this man seriously after such baseless bigoted assumptions. If he tries to target any other religion like this he might have a big problem on his hands.
