So I'm a Christian without a religion, as I'm unsure what denomination gets it. Thought it might be fun and I might learn something to debate some topic regarding Christianity, such as why one denomination is better than another, or why some other religion is better than Christianity in general...
I want to learn about different religious beliefs. Not sure, but I'm thinking that comparing ideas about something we all have in common--forgiving--might open my eyes a little. So please tell me:
• What's your religion?
• What do you believe forgiveness is?
• When do you believe you should...
So I think I was here before, not sure. Looking forward to checking things out. Any suggestions for someone wanting to learn about different religions?
Hi. So I've heard it said we are saved from hell by grace alone through faith alone. The grace is God's part and faith is our part. But I wonder if faith is the only condition we must meet. One biblical passage we might consider is:
8 For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and...
I'm curious what others believe about forgiving, and what the Torah, Christian New Testament and Koran have to say on the subject.
Should we forgive everyone everything every time? Or are there times when we should withhold forgiveness?
