I have close ties to nearby Highland Park. It's really hard to capture just how despicably vile this is.

Seems it's part of a campaign by an advocacy group called Metric Media. There's apparently a lot of sites that are virtually identical, all dressed up to look like independent local news sites.A similar thing was distributed locally with a different company name (referring to the city I am in). This seems to be happening statewide, and to be tailored to each specific location.
I have also seen a truck with some of the same propaganda on it. This seems to be a major misinformation campaign.
Really.I am shocked....shocked, I tell you!
Political propaganda presented under the guise of news.
This is a first.
Note:
I don't mock the OP.
I'm just noticing how widespread this tactic is.
Quite tellingly, it says this on their "About Us" page:
THE CORE BELIEFS
"We believe in limited government, in the constructive role of the free market and in the rights of citizens to choose the size and scope of their government and the role it should play in their society."
Downplaying right-wing propaganda that spreads outright lies in the guise of being local news.Really.
Ha ha ha ha ha!
What a nothingburger of a thread!
The shock of it all. What deception! GWd!
It looks like a newspaper! What a crime against humanity!
I'll decipher the coded language.THE CORE BELIEFS

Sangamon Sun...saw it on facebook before we received it conveniently a week before the election. I doubt that there will be a second issue...Seems it's part of a campaign by an advocacy group called Metric Media. SOURCES: The Metric Media network runs more than 1,200 local news sites. Here are some of the non-profits funding them.

Some of their other "publications":
NE Valley Times
Auburn Times
Jonesboro Times
Tucson Standard
Limited government (Small Government) = No regulations, taxes or oversight on corporations
Citizens choose = Corporations continue buying elections and gaslighting voters to support Corporate policy
Their core beliefs don't have working people in mind. 100% Corporate agenda.

It's as old as hills. It's even in the Bible, it's that old. "Beware of false prophets who come disguised as harmless sheep but are really vicious wolves."I am shocked....shocked, I tell you!

Like Jesus, Muhammed, L Ron Hubbard, Brigham Young & other guys."Beware of false prophets who come disguised as harmless sheep but are really vicious wolves."
Right. For example a congressional investigation revealed that about half of the inflation the USA is experiencing is due to corarations raising their prices, including gas companies. Many cororations are reporting record profits.I'll decipher the coded language.

It was Jesus who said that. I'm thinking that quote has a whole lot more to do with those who pretend to be representatives of a group, but aren't. That doesn't really apply to Jesus. But it certainly does apply to those who pretend they are a newspaper but are not. Kind of like introducing yourself as a police officer, when you are actually a thief.Like Jesus, Muhammed, L Ron Hubbard, Brigham Young & other guys.
Ironic. It was Jesus who said that.
How so? Jesus was misrepresenting himself in order to trick others?Ironic.
