Well, idiots wasting legislative time putting forward entirely pointless amendments for entirely party political purposes is a bad thing but in the grand scale of things, it doesn't have any impact on the status of the entire world. Believe it or not, the rest of the world really doesn't care about petty partisan spats in America (note that "occasionally entertained by" isn't the same as "caring"
).In general, there are so many diverse factors that could be considered in determining the entire world as simply "good" or "bad", such a simplistic question is ridiculous. Also, if the world becomes too bad, isn't there a risk of God going back on his promise and just killing us all to start over with one family and a boat full of animals?

Well, I can't say the world is pretty good -- looking at the murders, random and planned, starvation, rotten deals going forward by high officials, but it hasn't been so good for a long time. Depending on what one considers good, as one person here stated -- was cutting out the heart of sacrificial humans good, in order to sacrifice to their god(s)?

No, the world is changing, as most things do when time passes.
It's quite normal to grow more cynical and pessimistic about the world as you age, though, which I think is probably why it's so common for almost every generation to feel like the world is becoming worse.
I think this caused by the fact that pleasure sort of "tops off" at euphoria and only lasts a brief moment, but there's not really an end to how deep suffering and despair can go. Every time you think you've seen the bottom, there's deeper, and we learn how deep it can really get as we age.
You can find a solution in making peace with yourself no matter your circumstances, but that's a hard lesson to learn, and I think it's even harder for people who have lived easy lives because they've never been forced to adapt to adversity. To them, everything they always took for granted is slowly taken away with time.
The real trick is to learn to be content with nothing, to savor what little you're fortunate to have, and to find meaning in your hardship so that you might endure it through acceptance.
When you do this, the questions of whether the world is becoming better or worse stop making sense, or rather, you realize how little sense they made to begin with. In my opinion, at least.

They must be healed, treated. For example, if Bob thinks that he is God or Princess Diana, or Robin Hood, or Sherlock Holmes, or President Putin, then he must be treated with strong medications and other means in psychiatric clinic.

Depends what bad is. If earning a dollar or two a day is great, then several centuries earlier is great. But if convenience and enough food to eat daily is a great thing, current times a fantastic.
This word "bad" cannot be used like that. It's a fantastic world today, but one could go like Gods and bomb a million people in no time today and it happens quite often. But those days one would have to seriously spend some number of years to kill a million people. So in a way, you were safer. The killers will come slowly, and you can run. Today, you wouldn't have a split second to blink before your children are killed while the TV will show "it was a great thing". But in some areas like in the U.S you are very safe in comparison because the world will be scared to do such big murders within. It's a fabulous country in so many ways.
So this question is a nightmare in my personal opinion.

It means feeling of a person. Have you never felt bad or sick? Have you never had cancer or COVID 19? Do you feel that world is going bad and mad?

It’s certainly worth remembering that the first half of the 20th Century was characterised by crisis, war, upheaval; and that humanity survived all that, and - so far - the threat of nuclear war which hung over the second half of the century.
Wether we’ll survive the current mass extinction event, which is already underway and can only be mitigated not avoided, is another matter.
Things are actually pretty bad, let’s be honest. And they’ll get worse before they get better, but hopefully they will get better. Let’s hope God or the Universe has a plan, because I really don’t think humanity can save itself unaided.

1. when I read the thread title, I thought this was going to be about russia's war in ukraine and/or mounting tensions concerning hawai and climate change and other such REAL problems. Instead, it seems to be about "biological females" and pregnancy programs in prude US of A. How disturbing that you seem more concerned about such things then about conflicts that require little escalation to make us end up in WW3.
2. not worse then it used to be imo. However, I do feel that we are slowly but surely reaching a critical point of no return and the world should wake up and put health and safety above monster profits.
