As they say, they are hardly following their religion, they are blasphemers. How can one be Christian if one does not believe that Jesus was the anointed son of God? Or how can one be Muslim if one were to believe that Jesus was the anointed son of Allah?

One type of prayer that often gets neglected that was traditional in the early Church and early Judaism is what is often called "meditative prayer", whereas it's less words and more "listening". This is what I use most often.

Beautiful, and I agree.I am reminded that Jesus did say "Ask and you shall receive"... Even though He knows our needs, asking in faith is still a process that He wants us to go through.
And then again, "And when you pray, forgive"... Mark 11:25 - it is an important part of a spiritual life.
