'Insidious & hateful': Rick Wilson takes flak for telling Melania Trump '#BeInfected'

Yea. This kind of mentality still exists, even during a crisis.

Don't be like this man. Be bigger than that.

There'll be plenty of time for rampant unhindered Bushido after the crisis is handled proper.

Notice how the story is not about the virus and how it is going to hurt people. It's about the narcissists being victims of political punditry. I don't give a crap if Melania's feelings are hurt by ouchy criticisms. The story should not be about the Trump's thin skins. The Trump's never focus on anyone else but themselves.

I think Melania Trump herself can handle it. She's a pretty tough woman.

If you ask me it's the people doing the criticism like that that actually has the thin skin.

Yep telling someone to 'be infected' is rather hateful.
"bless and curse not' says the New Testament

Melania Trump shows allot of 'grace under fire' in public and always got more flack than deserved... but... I think the Trumps take it in stride.

Donald might even enjoy getting flak and thrive on it.

Yet another thread where you appear...bothered...by trolling.

Either you're going soft or this feigned indignance from you is just meta-trolling. Whichever it is, I'm not sure whether to be impressed or roll my eyes.

After eleven years of anti-Obama emails from a couple of cousins, I'm plumb outraged out. But you're welcome to try one more time.
After all, it's not too late: "Gorilla Face" ain't dead yet, is she?

Nah....I've no need to cause outrage (this morning).
But tis fascinating how opposing sides have opposite
standards for their own vs the other party.
And let's broaden your whatabouterie.....
Don't forget Hillary & Laura & Barbara Bush, who
also endured abuse. It should always be wrong,
not excused with apologetics & dismissal.

Teeter-totters are like that, aren't they? Somebody's gotta be up in the air; and somebody's gotta have their feet on the ground. The fun in them declines for most folks, with age, and ceases rat quick when a teeter-totter partner puts on more weight than me. I was always a light-weight and lost my taste for them early. And yet, here I am, in RF, surrounded by teeter-totters galore and so many invitations to find a free-seat on one.

Always wrong? Yep. Beware of teeter-totters.

It just goes to show that you really don't bother reading articles.

Apparently you'd just rather make a statement off the surface in a knee jerk manner which is a big part of your problem anyways with a lot of your postings. Let me know if that isn't the case.

This man is a co-founder of the Lincoln project. He considers himself Republican.

If you descend into the fetid swamp that is the media, both left and right, you'll find plenty of examples no matter which ideology you profess.

He's only bothered by hateful trolling if it's anti Trump/repub. Hateful trolling that's anti dem of course gets a pass.
I knew it was going to be selective, hypocritical outrage before I even read the post.
Such rhetoric is either uncalled for or it's not. You don't get to flip-flop based on who the target is.

I did read the article. I'm well aware who Rick Wilson is. My statement wasn't off the cuff, it was a reasoned assessment of how you consistently post, which I've now observed for months. Your projection onto me is transparent. I can only hope your newfound distaste for trolling or hateful tweets translates to when Trumpists do it (or, you know, Trump himself). Or when you yourself are tempted to do it. Hope springs eternal.
