Wow, it wont help to keep on hammering.
Evolution has no evidence pal.
on the other hand, the Bible gives the best explanation of the origins of the Universe.
3400 years ago the Bible gave an acurate description of the Nebular theory, as well as the claim that everything in our Earth contained water.
Guess what, this fact was confirmed by science over the last 15 years.
the evolutionary theory of the universe was contained in the Bible, plagerised by Kant, used by Hubble et al, formulated in the later 20th century, and supported by recent discoveries only known in Genesis.
pal, this was the detail that changed me from an Atheist to a Bible believing Christian to start with.
When I investigated Evolution, I found all the claims made by so called scientists and paleontologists no better than donnald duck comic books.
You are mislead on what :
the facts of evolution are,
and what the Bible realy say.

Your posts are quite amusing as they are so silly, keep them coming so I can have a giggle.:D

I've seen some science work in documentary
the experiment aimed at determination of when a BELIEF in something unseen can take hold

seems the lesser primates cannot even consider
Well, there are plenty of other things they also don't consider - so that doesn't exactly make belief a special case, but I get where you are coming from.

This all leads to a question though of whether we are being foolish expecting "animals" to be more like us... or whether we should be expecting that we, ourselves, are more like the animals in the first place. Such that, our assigning of "belief" to ourselves as some monumental thing is merely just our advanced imagination and ego at work. An anomaly, in other words.

And with different thumbs. We have finer mobility and better at delicate manipulation. That and our brain development allowed us to devise more complex tools.
Yep, as it all linked together that ultimately involved many changes both physically and cognitively. I my intro to anthro course, I covered the changes one set of organs at a time and how they eventually have gotten played out.

But I agree with you!
If you want to be an Ape, you are welcome!
And I am telling you your thoughts are still in error. I don't WANT to be an ape - I AM an ape, by definition. So are you. It is simply arrogance or ignorance or both that cause you to deny it. And believe me - it isn't a good look for you.

And if you do not believe in the Bible in a literal sense, then your opinion is true.
But any person believing in the Bible literally, will never be able to say what you claim.
No one is telling God how he should have created humans, He already did that in Genesis.
It is the agnostics and Atheists that would like the Bible believer to doubt in the Bible.
Period.

It is true that I am not a biblical inerrantist. I'm also of the opinion that Genesis has a LOT of metaphor in it, yes.

But the thing is, even if I were a literalist, I do not see where God told us anything about how He did things. THAT He did them? Yes. But...how?

Not so much,

I will take this to mean that you are also submitting to this part of my post (which I am sure you are intelligent enough to have read and understood):

So thanks for that. I am going to assume you finally get it.

I challenge anyone to show me that Genesis and Evolution can be reconciled.
Man as a species....Day Six
no names
no garden
no law
go forth, be fruitful, multiply
dominate all things

and Man did so

but we would have overrun the planet and it's resources
LONG before the spirit of Man could gel

so.....Chapter Two
a selected specimen
ideal living conditions
manipulation
anesthesia
surgery
cloning
a test to make sure the alteration took hold
release into the environment

OK, You are an ape!
If you prefer to be an Ape, fine with me!
But I am not!
I am the descendend of Adam and Eve, the first 2 created humans.
I am a child of God.
and you?
A child of 2 Apes!
It is hilarious!!
No, you are no more a descendant of Adam than you are of Askr. People are the product of evolution. That can be demonstrated. That is why you are an ape.

You may still be a "child of God", but that does not mean that there was an Adam. You are making the error of telling God how he had to make you when his own work (if he exists) tells a different story. But denying your God's creation you are in effect calling him a liar.

Why would you suggest I am afraid?
I find you are you terrified!
You are terrified in knowing the creator!
This is why you want to make Evolution your God.
From my side,
I agree with you.
being an Ape is a demonstrateble fact!
All you have to do to demonstrate such a claim, is too act like an Ape!
Stand on all fours and shout, I am an Ape!
:D
Reality scares you. It scares you so much that you have to call your God a liar.

and please, try to remember the Ninth Commandment. You should not assume others have your weaknesses.

I have a larger brain than other apes. Therefore I should be cleverer.
But I cannot climb trees as well as other apes.
I could not survive in the jungle like other apes.

So am I greater??

In some ways, yes; in many others, no

Not hilarious just real. Your parents may have been called Adam and Eve but if they were not human apes as opposed to chimpanzee apes or gorilla apes which all share about 98 similarity in DNA. If it makes yourself feel better that you are a child of god, then Chimps, gorillas and the rest of life are children of god. We all ultimately came from the same ancestor so we therefore ultimately the children of the same god, goddess or creative process like evolution - whatever makes you happy.
