  • ha! now it is your birthday :D Happy Birthday! you're born on the same day with my mother btw ..

since i am living a very ordinary and calm life, there's nothing special, nothing very important. all is fine and calm :)
alaykum salam. thanks brother. i hope all goes well with the help of Allah ofcourse.

it's going to take a long time to get them open to other people, but even if it takes a long time it may come to be easy when the right time comes, Allah knows better. what Allah wills will happen no one can stop it.

thanks for your nice post brother, salam to you.
You may not know, but Vaishnavism is actually monotheistic. They believe that God and the soul are eternally separate entities, and that God is Vishnu or Krishna, and the other 'gods' like Shiva, Parvati, Ganesha, etc. are demigods, or angels. They are to be respected, but Vishnu is the Supreme Lord and is to be worshipped.

Well, I love the dedication that Christians have towards the Bible and memorising the Scriptures in English, and I grew up as a Christian, loving Jehovah. I love Judaism, because it has so many beautiful rituals towards Yehovah. I love the Qur'an, and Allah, and how the Message of tawhid is so simple. And I love the Baha'i Faith because Baha'u'llah has taught that God's religion is eternal, eternal in the past, and eternal in the future.

    Khuda Hafez, and Fi'aman'u'llah! :)

I am a monotheist, and I always will be, and that will never change!
Wasalam, no not all a pressure, but a pleasure! dont take me wrong, just due to some lack of time and since i wouldnt want to refer incomplete or vague stuff to you so i wanted to gather as many sources as possible, for my ownself as well, no worries :)
    Assalaam'u'Alaikum, Abibi!

At the moment, kind of left the Vaishnava religion, and I am exploring my options. :D I wish I had a religion sometimes... At the moment, I believe in One God, who has been revealed through many people, such as the Prophet Muhammad, Jesus, Baha'u'llah, Abraham, Krishna, Buddha, etc.

That's about it. I am still looking! :)

Thank you so much for your kind words; I do not think of myself as compassionate; friendly, only sometimes! :D You, on the other hand, are cool!

    Salaam Walid,

No problem i understand. And you're welcome, very much deserved.
Ve Aleykum Selam, Abibi :) thank you for your message. i had an ordinary day on my birthday. i like it that way.
how's life going around you? i hope it is well :)
Im so sorry I still havent replied to one of your pm, have been quite busy lately and not to mention my transient state of blank laziness, is my utmost fatal enemy. I'm sure though you're smart enough to find related info on that topic, hope you did.
we decided to open the islamic community thing due to almost all the albanains who are muslims are very far away from islam, this was actually shown to us many times, we had one man say that first he is an albanian and then a muslim, we had others say that they don't like to have anyone other than albanains in the community so we have opened one just for the albanains, i was talking to a brother from india about opening the islamic community and he said well why don't you just join into a community that is already there for you, so i explained to him the reason behind it and he started laughing and said i understand, that is not a bad idea.

so it's just to teach them the basics really, and then go on from there, it is very dificult to maintain an islamic community when only 2 men out of about 50 know how to lead the jamat in prayer. and whats worse it that only about a handful of them know how to actually pray and have memorised a surah or two from the qur'an.
alaykum salam. regarding my work, it is the same for everyone, i'm not a foreign labourer no, thats just how life is over here in these mining jobs, the job is away from towns and all due to being a mine site.
it's not bad it's alright but i as a muslim don't like it very much i need to be near a mosque. as for breaks we had 2 weeks off for the christmas-new year thing that they celebrate, islams holidays are not public holidays so i just take time off, took 5 weeks off for ramadan, everyone hated me for doing so but i don't care, i even told my boss i'm a muslim i need to come and pray in the office, everyones eyes were about to pop out.

some non practicing muslims came up to me and said that i will get fired for asking to go and pray but Allah is most great, i am still working and am one of the best workers, all supervisors want me. Elhamdulilah.
just recently i've become even more busy, the reason for my absence from here is due to my work being about 2 hours of flying from home and i live in a camp where it's pretty much like a prison except that you get to go out into the city without the chains on, it's mining and contruction. so i'm at work for atleast 4 weeks and then i get one week off. so when i go home i can't really be bothered to go on RF and waste my time debating someone who is just not going to listen like always.

the other recent thing is that a group of us from where i live decided to open up an islamic community and without it having been formally open problems have already begun. so insha allah i hope we can find a solution to all our obsitacles.

    salam brother.
alaykum salam we rahmatullahi we barakatuh brother.

long time no see indeed, you weren't around for quite some time, i thought you had gone. ha ha lol :D

i don't have much time unfortunately like i used to, i am very busy right now. have been for almost a year. it's all due to work.

    salamu alaykum.
In the Islam DIR you just told that guy exactly what I was thinking, LOL. Is Islamic interests above anyone else's with an agenda? LOL
Yes, the different regions of the US are always so interesting - I always notice how the housing differs from one area to the other. I used to travel a lot on business up to Minnesota and I was always so struck by how different the housing style was.
Well, I guess it depends on what you mean by ranch style. We live in a detached single home, brick, with some nice trees in the yard. I mean, I think it's fairly typical, but I'm sure to someone from outside the US, it would be more interesting than it is to me!
Well, if you're ever coming through northeast Texas, let me know and you can meet my husband in person and decide for yourself! Texans are an unusual lot, and at first I was a bit put off by them (mainly because they think they are Southern when they're not really), but they do grow on you over time! By the way, my husband is a first class crawdad sucker! (Expert crawfish eaters suck them out of the shell.) He can go through five pounds of crawfish in ten minutes - I've seen him do it. Amazing!
