Why I believe America will soon lose its democracy.

If that's how you feel, you should also support genocide.
Irrelevant tangent.

If I have a severely handicapped toddler, is restricting my rights to have a good life... Why can't I terminate him?
That is your business and your decision. Do what you think is right for you.

You haven't explained why you believe you have the authority to decide what is correct for all women. Do you have no answer?

In America the majority vote is supposed to decide. If roe versus wages is overturned I guess you know what the will of the majority was.
The majority want reproductive rights. Trump wasn't elected by the majority of voters. The senate does not represent the majority of voters. These two government agencies were able to place three far right religious justices on the supreme court and these three are making the decisions in favor of the far right religious minority.

What difference? They are both human beings. One is just not as big as the other. Does size decide who has rights?

No, the crucial aspect is having a brain developed enough to feel pain and to be conscious. That doesn't happen until at *least* the 6th month or pregnancy.

We should use the same criterion for being alive as we do for death: brain activity.

Reality has consequences in the real world?
Astounding!

I favor a trial.
Reality:
I won't get my way.
Of course. But that "reality" is one of the reasons for my conviction about the future of democracy in the US.Germans were pretty surprised in 1933 and 1934 when Hitler dismantled democracy in Germany and turned it into a dictatorship.

"Few Germans believed this could happen. In fact, many did not believe Hitler would remain in power for long. After all, in the 14 years since the creation of the Weimar Republic, Germany had had 14 chancellors, most of whom served for less than a year. Recalling a discussion with his father on the day Hitler became chancellor, journalist Sebastian Haffner wrote in 1939:

"'I discussed the prospects of the new government with my father. We agreed that it had a good chance of doing a lot of damage, but not much chance of surviving very long...How could things turn out so completely different?'" Facing History and Ourselves

So I guess we can kill the mentally damaged then?

Creating life within yourself isn't " being screwed".
Have you ever been with a pregnant woman or witnessed the miracle of birth?
Have you ever had something FORCED UPON YOU that you didn't want to be forced on you? Was it a "miracle" that you still treasure today?

You know, I've had you on ignore for weeks, and wondered why I was so much happier. Now that I'm reminded, bye bye.
