AOC once again caught maskless in crowded drag bar hooping it up..

Promote research into treating those with the most serious covid symptoms.
If we can't prevent the eventual spread of covid we need to look at ways preventing death from it.

You don't think they're doing that already?

What should everyone be doing while we're waiting for the research?

That one pic doesn't tell the full story shown in the video or in the pic.
How is this better than being indoors in a crowd?

Do you have any idea when that picture was taken?

You keep saying this. I'll bite. What options are you suggesting?
When something like this virus becomes endemic, there is simply no choice but to learn to live with it. We have the flu, it's not going away. Every year I get a flu shot. If I do get the flu (the shot won't always protect against that), there is every likelihood it will be relatively mild, and after a week or so of staying home, I can get back to living.

And yes, lots of people don't get the vaccine -- and some of them actually die. Nobody can help that, nobody is going to stop death from happening completely.

But if we shut the world down trying to stop this virus totally, then a lot of people are going to die of starvation and exposure, rather than the virus. I can't say I think that's a whole lot better, can you?

This virus is here to stay. Just like the flu. We simply must learn to live with it, just like we do with the flu.

The other options is the unvaxxed get over themselves and get vaccinated. They are the ones letting this linger on, they are largely and mostly the ones going to the hospitals and morgues, they are the ones largely and mostly passing it on, and it is because of them we aren't over this yet. It's because of them California has mask mandate for a couple more weeks. They refuse to do for their country, community, family, coworkers, or even for themselves they will not act in their best interest, and because of that my dad had to wait a few days at the hospital for a proper room when he fell off a ladder.

Just saw a comment today from someone in the medical community:

That's not her position, so I don't know why you put it that way.
And you're right. We can't manage this with current policy. We need to get strict about like other countries who did soar through this with little sickness and death.

I haven't seen any evidence that strict enforcement would prevent the eventual spread of covid. A couple of hospitals with strict enforcement have not prevented the spread of the infection.

Also, I did say it was her position, I'm just hopeful she'll understand the actual purpose of the CDC guidelines and realize there is still a lot more to do.
Otherwise folks can keep pointing to the CDC guidelines while folks die.

Doesn't matter what I think.
If you have evidence of the government investing in a cure, great.

We all pay for their fairy tale beliefs and selfishness.

Sure, lets wait on that. That's the fantasy anyway.

We have a choice to mitigate it while we learn to live with it. Unfortunately the Overton Window on that looks like it's closed.

We have the flu, it's not going away. Every year I get a flu shot. If I do get the flu (the shot won't always protect against that), there is every likelihood it will be relatively mild, and after a week or so of staying home, I can get back to living.

I get what you're saying, but at the same time, we could have done a better job in the U.S. if we'd all been willing to work together. We could've had far fewer deaths, far fewer people with long term effects. It's too late for them, and the anti-vaxxers and anti-maskers didn't care and they don't care. Somebody actually could have helped that. They could have helped themselves, and others. Instead they watched them die, and died themselves.

That's pretty much a non-answer. You keep wanting options other than what's been done to this point but don't want to expand on them. That's fine, I'll leave you to ponder the options.

AOC responded to the article with some sexual fantasy.
Does AOC believe she is every man’s fantasy?

So it seems she's not denying the event.
When some posing as a journalist writes an article about her boyfriend’s foot I think she is more than justified to describe it as creepy and weird.

This is what is passing for journalism on the right. You want to criticize her political positions fine, but this nonsense just shows how desperate they are to come up with anything. They really do seem to be obsessed.

ikr? I love how she winds them up. When you've got one of them at BlazeTV saying

“People are fixated with [her] for being an entitled, hypocritical, socialist, lockdown happy, vaccine mandate-ho while vacationing in the free state of Florida. [She] just [sucks] as a person and as a public servant. That’s really the extent of it."

That just says it all. :tearsofjoy: He admits they're "fixated" with her, and then he calls her a ho.

And then they start the whole round again with "sex fantasy!"

They didn't 100% prevent it, but New Zealand sure slowed it way the hell down.

Yes, we do. But you and I both know that politicians are a different kind of animal than we are. Ingratiating ourselves everywhere we go isn't our stock-in-trade, you and I, but pols....
I wonder which posters here would be justifying
such behavior if Trump were the one canoodling
in a mask-less outdoors crowd.

The guidelines claim to slow the spread, not stop it.
I the idea really is to slow the spread long enough for the vaccine @ first. Well seems the vaccine won't stop covid.
Time to look at different options.

Basically the CDC guidelines is not a preventative action.
Preventive to an extent.
But it seems that some are seeking inferences
to push boundaries, eg, anything goes outdoors.
