Cats. Not even close.

I have always liked dogs, but over the last 25 years, I have come to appreciate and like cats too.For me it's dogs.
I am a cat person. My house is unevenly balanced; 10 cats, 2 dogs.
Though, to be fair, I never sought out 10 cats, and will never seek to keep that number up. I only sought out the one dog, the addition of the second is a long story. I am not opposed to adding dogs, but I would never allow 10. Nor would the city. No one that I don't want to know is aware we have ten cats. You can't hide dogs. They bark.

I have always been a cat person.
But last New Years Eve, my wife brought home a lab puppy. There was no choice but to make her part of the family.
This little dog (actually, not little any more) has wormed her way into my heart in a way few animals have. She has opened me up to the dog side of things.
So, I guess I am both a dog and a cat person now.

Dogs are "man's best friend". They listen to you and you can teach them to obey a lot of commands, they mirror your mood and your personality, they will follow you wherever you go and they will wait for you when you can't take them with you. They are absolutely loyal and you can't disappoint them.
That's why I love cats.

I admire a cats independent and playful nature and their sheer cuddly demeanor as well as being so gosh darn cute!
